Ok lets get this clear, eminem has always been mainstream. If u want to talk about underground then his classic album "Infinite" is considered underground. In his early days he was lyrically a beast, and made decent songs. In my personal opinion he hit his musical peak in terms of great lyrics and music at the same time around eminem show, curtain call etc then he retired, then he came back and relapse was so **** it was just awful, lyrics where still complex and sick but the songs where awful and the accent was pathetic, recovery i think was brilliant, great songs and great lyrics, NO Love was a beast song, hell the sequal seams decent i havent even bothered to download it as i find royce da 5'9 boring even though he is sick as ****, i like lighters but eminems poppy songs are beginning to piss me off. Why cant he get back to making songs like Lose yourself and sing for the moment, those where his best days by far, anyway im out i need to get back on track and right some ****

When I say mainstream I meant like he's playing to a different audience doin songs wit people like Bruno mars he isn't trying to entertain the sane people he was entertaining in the older days like alot of songs on recovery I liked and a few songs from him and Royce I like but he just isn't the same I know what underground is but in my eyes there's 2 mainstreams one for people like us who like that kinda stuff em used to do and people like Bruno mars who are all about playing to teenagers and **** that's what he's turning into and i hate it cuz as u said he was lyrically beast but since he came back it just hasn't been the same cuz before he didn't give a **** what he said on a track but now it seems like he's being told what to rap about and it's taking away from his ability
