i do it for the love of the game but also wanting to be famous for music as thats all i want to do in life no matter what, hell, ill be depressed as **** if i was not doing what i love and known for it when im older, i think u could gimme some good advice as im kind of in a strange situation.

I love rap so much like i said its all i want to do, but in the past 5 months i have had no motivation to write anything as i get to distracted by everything and its killing me cuz i aint getting anywhere by sitting around but im tryna perfect my career, i want to do everything in the next year or 2 meaning recording my own music videos with high quality well thought about videos...but i need a good camera, i also want a sound worthy mic as ive compared the studios (its actually a studio) i work in sound quality with up and coming rappers and theirs is a million times better, i work in a booth and everything but its got a horrible noisy.loud sound to it.

have u got any advice on getting myself motivated again like i was last year? im motivated to succeed but not to take action if you understand? i think the main thing is because im a perfectionist and i have no access to unique instrumentals im constantly looking for the perfect beat already used by famous artists..also do u have any advice on getting good equipment?

And if it helps I think you've just lost track cuz of lack of success if u truly love the game that should bring you enough inspiration to look back at some of the great stuff you've written and get back into that zone life experiences are also often the best inspiration cuz there's people who write about people who put him down and said they would never make it to family whether it's good or bad to girls who fucked them over and everything inbetween don't give up cuz of all the rappers I've seen come through this forum your one of the most talented

If I said that they needed to improve a bit more because their raps sounded a bit bland, that would be giving them criticism.

Just some advice for the newbees on here.

the first/immediant thing i look at when listening to any emcee on the internet is see how their rhyme scheme is and the biggest fail from every new emcee and a lot of you guys is your just rhyming one words at the end of your sentences at that requires 0.5 skill. all u have to do is find a word, rhyme it 4 times and fill a sentence behind it so it makes sense like this...

See it requires NO SKILL WHATSOEVER.

Mix up your rhyme scheme, use multisyllables. let me try and re-write that slightly more advanced.....

Thats also awful but it was just an example of mixing up your rhyme scheme, dont just rhyme one word a sentence, its not impressive at all, a 3 year old can do it...
