I would also like to point out its not a rap album (mix tape, or whatever), it's mainly rock, like linkin park. It has rap influence with singing choruses, and instrumental solos

You've never released any kind of product before yet you're immediately coming out with an album as much as you piss me off let me tell you this

Just cuz you're making an album doesn't mean people will buy it you're better off making a 5 or 6 song demo tape showing off a couple different styles and releasing that all over the place FOR FREE (gotta spend money to make money) to get a little buzz, theres a saying "You gotta be hood famous before world famous" if you get super lucky maybe a small indie label will help fund some of youre album but even that is a long shot maybe 5% chance

Litterally your best option is to go to the most hip hop oriented place around you with a couple hundred demo tapes and hand them put and even then at least 50% will probably throw it out without listening to it but that's what it takes

Success isn't just gonna happen by making an album

Lets say by some slight 1% chance you get the chance to have a show

•where's it gonna happen
•can you memorize an entire set list and can your band memorize every note
•you have ONE album nobody knows who you are who's gonna come to the show
•do you even have the time to go out and do shows

You're trying to simplify a VERY COMPLICATED PROCESS

Nobody told you to stop but it's an easier process if you don't start off with a full album

you hone your craft and practice your **** and let people hear some demos and mixtapes for you jump to making an album and try to get a profit off of it
