What a weird stage; though I guess that children are naturally violent, wouldn't you say? When did you stop liking gore?

Quote:
probably like me...
when i realised these were real people suffering and being hurt and mutilated and not an unreal fantasy that didnt exist...

exactly.
at some point, in my teens i guess, i started imagining what that stuff would feel like ON ME. i was forever cured of my gore addiction Smile

Do you know what I found funniest?--

The fact that more people hate Scrappy Doo than Milosevic, a dictator..

Actually, that's really sad Laughing

Another Scooby character, or a character from something else? I'm interested either way... (I found him annoying, but I found most TV annoying when young, as I do now.)

How do you figure?

If you mean that more people who post on the Internet hate Sacrappy doo than Milosevic you may be correct.

This was based on instances of comments anti-people on the Internet, in every language, with apparently thousands of phrases of derision. Do you dislike Scrappy, McG?

Scrappy sucked ass. I would like to see a celeberity boxing death match between him and Erkel, from Family Matters, in the hopes that they will indeed kill each other.

A four way match with Seven (or anyone from that ghastly show) would pull in quite a crowd...

I find all this stupefying; that a TV character can even rate it's own thread!

Not having ever seen the show, i must refrain from offering an opinion as to the 'character' and 'hateability' of an invention, but taking a line from Marshal McCluhan, i may not hate the 'message' but i do have a certain strong disdain for the 'medium'!

[and Slobadan Milosevic just doesn't get enough 'prime time' coverage i guess? Rolling Eyes ]

Bo, didn't you hear? Milosevic actually voiced Scrappy Doo to raise money for arms.
