Bernie Sanders claims that American workers are suffering because they are forced to compete with workers abroad (e.g., China). Meanwhile, rich people in the U.S. have gotten richer.
Hasn't the trade with China and other countries lifted hundreds of millions of people out of extreme poverty in those countries?
So, Sanders doesn't care about the extreme poor around the world, but only about the middle class in the U.S.
I like Vanilla ice cream. That does not mean I hate chocolate and strawberry.
A president's responsibility is foremost the benefit of the people in the nation. Any candidate running on a platform of "Let's give away the store to poor nations" is not going to get elected.
