How strange. Today I was building a roof and my friend started singing a Velv. Underground song. I mentioned Nico and he said he didn't know a woman sang with the group. He said"I was wondering which guy had the high voice". I must admit it's quite a coincidence.

I'll think on that further, Fortune. As you've seen, the right ideas come to me, thirty-minutes too late.

I agree, Deb... some say that she was kicked out because she outshadowed the others.

Wow, Panz, I'm being freaked out! Isn't it weird how we are all tenuously connected by dreams?

And no-- her ashes were buried in Germany, in the grave in which her mother also lies. She's been dead for at least a decade and a half, I think.

I've been having strange dreams lately:

Wrapped up in the chaotic tapestry of dreaming
all images look like a Jackson Pollock drizzle-fest,
all thoughts, all sounds flow like free jazz,
with jagged edges, and sharp unforgiving corners,
every transgression punished by crushing cacophony,
cold, calculated justice.

I have come to the temple of insects,
where the buzz and hum of the hive are welcome things.
I hear their thoughts, buzzing and humming
but cannot comprehend what happens when they sleep.
I pity the creatures, able to buzz
but not to dream.

Nah, don't get paranoid there panzade, just weird thoughts completely unrelated to anything but my own unhinged mind. Actually, it was in response to a troll on another site, plain and simple, but the words did indeed come to me in a dream.

Do dreams mean anything?
my shrink keeps asking the same question

Where do dreams come from?
the silence of the lambs

What did Neandrethals dream about?
becoming Cro-Magnon

Can dreams portend the future?
Only Nostradamus knows for sure

Freud or Jung?
Freud would say Freud; Jung would say...; I would say colonel Klink!

Not dreaming...a problem?
yup! that's why I do it during the daytime

When are dreams the most vivid?
when they're in color!

What time of night?
when all the neon lights are on

Are daydreams related?
my cat thinks so

Does REM have any connection to dreaming?
i don't remember!

In school I kept on looking out the window instead of the chalkboard. In short , I was daydreaming which did not make a good impression. My I.Q barcode was accordingly "recalibrated" after having made too many "can you please repeat that question?" responses to a question.Embarrassed

I had a dream last night that bothered me quite a bit.

I was the last person on earth. Some kind of nuclear war had destroyed all of mankind but because I was underwater at the time, checking some things out in my swamp, I survived.

The earth was a black lifeless ball when I returned to the surface of my swamp.

Only charred tree stumps remained. And smoke.

Some of the smoke swirled around me and transformed me into a giant crow. I spread my wings and flew. I flew for thousands of miles, looking at the earth below, and the only thing I saw were charred tree stumps and smoke.

Even where there had previously been cities. New York City, for example -- charred trees and smoke. No building shells, no evidence of highways. No scorched human skeletons. Just charred trees and smoke.

And then I heard a voice. And the voice said, "Hey look! A giant crow wearing overalls and a straw hat!"

I looked down to where the voice was coming from and noticed three small children looking up at me.

I circled them several times and then **** on their heads.

Their screams woke me up from my dream.

I was drenched in sweat and gasping for breath.

What did this dream mean?

The re-fertilization and baptism of a New Beginning. As we know, "blessings" always come from ON HIGH. Consider yourself it's incipient High Priest, a Prophet of its future! Only when you perform the rituals, please drop the overalls and straw hat!

That sounds like a big adventure, Fortune. Make a film about it; call it 'Saving Private Gustav,' although it has nothing to do with privates; win a high-profile case against the big guys who are suing you heartlessly; and you're away with it Very Happy.

I had a dream last night that sarcasm had been erased from the world....I felt so alone....then it merged into a vision of strangling my shrink, and getting away with it because the cops were stupid.

I woke up in a ditch with a garotte in my hand, and wondered if it was a dream at all...so I polished off a bottle of whiskey and fell asleep again.

In my next dream, my imaginary lawyer asked me if I had been 'regressed'.

I said, "I think so."

The dream lawyer, who now looked like a fox, said that I had a viable defense on the grounds that the shrink implanted false memories into my mind, driving me to my homicidal rage.

Not guilty by reason of temporary insanity.

I felt better, and drifted off into happier dreams of naked women who resembled my mother.

My dream that I remember from last night isn't as weird as last night's. I dreamt that I owned Western Sahara, and that they just said that it was disputed so that there was no uproar about the foreigner running the place. The people elected thanes every six days.. the thanes had to deal with immigration, and making it seem as if we were still at war. The most popular guy was someone called Qiarupi (or something like that,) but he ruled with a heavy hand. He came to my presidential house to tell me that he found out that the servant that he had put to death (despite my orders) was actually his long-lost brother, and that he was going to hang himself from a tree. Then I woke up.

Laughing I had another dream, just now, about drugged athletes, and found myself screaming "F 'Roids!" over and over....then I woke up.

Laughing.... I think that that dream shows a clear case of Cabbage Patch doll envy. I won't explain what that means, but-- if pressed-- I'll make up a nonsensical German name to give GPDE more-- gravitas.
