He should go back to selling used cars. He's more plausible in that role.

Salon has an article on just how stupid this idea is.

@Setanta,
who said you have to be plausible to become a president? Its a failing office.

Its pretty much all showmanship with a "Big hat and no cattle"

@Setanta,
Salon reserves the right to utilize opinion lines over and over. Theyve been doing the same to Hillary.
Salon needs only to sell ad space to match its verbiage. (Or is it the other way around?)

@farmerman,
I don't agree, but i'm not going to waste any time arguing about it.

From the Democratic Party's point of view, although i suspect not many Democrats realize it, the most important thing they have to do is to re-take the Senate.

The Republicans have to figure out how to survive the deteriorating teabaggers and the deaths of the Reagan supporters.

@farmerman,
I've got no brief to defend Salon. I just passed the remark.

@farmerman,
Yes . . . the man was a prophet, not honored in his own time and country.

@Setanta,
I believe there are one or two here that produce stuff for Salon.
Like all "blogs posing as journalism", they heavily invest in the science and art of plagiarism too.

It goes without saying that the Republican candidate will win the election this time around.

Trump as president will draw in enough new voters to revitalize the Republican Party and shut the Democrats out of the White House for 20 years.

Ryan as president will hold the White House for two terms, then the Democrats will have a shot at retaking power.

Cruz as president will serve only a single term, then he will be defeated so decisively that the Democrats will hold the White House for 20 years.

@farmerman,
Well, he didn't want the office. That alone would make him a better president than anyone else running.

Did you see his vid, FM? Sounds as though he really thinks he can get the nomination. He's got that old Oval Office fever.

@oralloy,
for someone who claims to have no dogs in the fight, you doo go on about your "one issue" candidates winning the WH.

As I recall, your skills at prognostication were no better than Hawkees, that is, about the same as flipping a coin.

Sounds like Rachael is scared shitless that Ryan WOULD change his mind and agree to be 'drafted'.

I wonder what her motivation could be ? NOT!

How are you able to recall whether my prediction is true when the election still lies in the future?
