Frank doesn't need spirit, cause he has logic on his side.

I speak highly of the education I have received in the Bible... reading and studying it every day and knowing the true God within is the greatest form of learning available.

Therefore my "point" is only as sharp at the word that I stand upon.

Or as sharp as the point on your head.

I'd vote for that.

My do you err in your logic...

No I don't.

Would I favor the same death penalty that crucified Jesus Christ?

Beats me!

Do you not see what the Bible is teaching?

About the same thing that Aesop is teaching...except in a more vulgar, barbaric, murderous, absurd way.

That the same "penalty" that rids the word of evil can take from us also the most innocent...

Which means????

How you can be so insensitive as to not see the ineptitude of you own quandary.

I have no quandary. You have the quandary.

Two institutions you seem to revere both consider people of your life style to be sludge.

The scouts would never allow you to be a scout leader...and the god you worship orders that you be stoned as an abomination.

Now that, Rex....is a quandary.

Now think on these words, and make your own point from them...

I just did.

Nah...I'm really quite a fun-loving, gregarious, sweetly deposed old bastard.

And you give precious little evidence of knowing anything either!

Where have I ever said there is no God?

C'mon....don't start that strawman shyt. You'll look like even more of an idiot than.....

Well...we do have some fun here. Stop being such an angry, bitter, grumpy old bastard and join in.

Let me point something out, you can't prove that this so-called cartoon God doesn't exist, but when you can then maybe I'll listen to your hateful rants.

Moi????

Surely you jest.

I would not think of trying to prove any such thing.

1Pe 1:23
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible [seed] the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

What spirit/seed do you have Frank?

You appear to have the spirit of ignorance...

Nope.

Make another guess.

Really, then how can you trash me for being a Christian if the values you hold to apply only to you?

Frank,

It's not looking good for your guy. Almost 12 hours and no response from the Imposter. Do you think he's quit already?

I'd say it looks really good for him. He has a personal ethos, which isn't some pap he imbibed from a book of fairy tales or the rantings of some religious snake-oil salesman. He's way ahead of you . . .

Ya know what I like best about this sorta discussion? Its that its exceedingly rare, and great fun, to find Frank, Set, C. I. , and timber all in agreement - a more unlikely passle of partners would be hard to imagine. I'll say this for religion - it has a way of bringing folks together Mr. Green

I only trash christians when they continue to contradict themselves and what the bible says. The bible says god and lord are one, but you say they are separate - after claiming that the bible is the "word of god." Are you smarter than the bible and god? I love it when christians make up their own rules to live by which does not comply with the bible's teachings. Have you stoned anybody lately?

Quite frankly, how I worship God is none of your business. It sounds to me like you trash Christians whenever they open their mouth. Maybe they make you a little insecure??

You are quite right; how you worship your god is none of my business. However, and there's always a however, when you post stupid stuff on a public internet sight about your religious beliefs, it becomes fair game. If you don't like the challenge, quit posting stupid stuff, and you will not hear from any of us non-religious types.

I believe I hold my own. But it is hard to tell as my last few challenges have been ignored.

Is it because you couldn't make it to the barbecue? Nobody asked me for directions, so me'n Joe invited a bunch of Eckankar folks for some laughs. I didn't understand a word anybody said, but Joe said he did. I'm still trying to deal with it.

There's always Labor Day, I guess.
