@ossobuco,
You have only missed one game's worth. You can, if you're still interested, choose the rest of the games. There's another game in 2 hours ..and 2 tomorrow, still.

@Ragman,
You're sure? I might add my guesses in anyway, whether or not they end up counting, just for the hell of it. (Heh, I had picked KC in my mind)
Thanks, Rags.

@ossobuco,
yeah, the rules about submission of picks are still the same as regular season...e.g. submit at least 30-60 minutes before the start of the game. Tonight's game with Cincy could be submitted about now at the latest and counts if done in time..whereas picking after the start of that KC-Houston game after 4:30 ET won't count in totals.

Houston Texans picked KC Chiefs about 11 seconds into the game..hence, that 108-yd run for TD on the initial kickoff. The stayed constant and consistent all of the way through the game, too. Hope they made some money with the bookies in Vegas.

As an aside, George...did you settle on the bonus points for this weekend's
games? I used 4 for getting all of the Wild Cards right; you mentioned 1.
We are using your rules (i.e. four points). When I wrote one point, I was still
thrashing about (story of my life actually).

Texans bombed, but so far, my other favorite team is doing well in the third quarter.

after seven quarters, the home teams have yet to score a single point...

and the four starting QB's for the home teams have a combined zero games of playoff experience coming into today...

rut roh, Big Ben injured his throwing shoulder...

@Ragman,
Re the regular season, I have long assumed, re Sunday games, all had to be picked prior to the first Sunday game, and I don't remember re Saturdays. I could swear on that, but maybe stuff has changed; I think back in the beginning, it was before the first game of that week, but I'm not sure on that, and that the rule loosened to pre weekend games.

I'm no stats gatherer, but I figured I was a dead doorknob for missing the time for the first game.

It's amazing how weird some of the Steelers games can get.

For the second round (Divisional, Conference and Super Bowl)

all picks, up to and including the Super Bowl,
must be submitted before the kickoff of the first
Divisional game.

@ossobuco,
Since there was confusion about the deadline, let's just keep your Cincinnati
pick and take your picks for today's game as long as they are posted by
kickoff for today's first game (1:05 Eastern).

I don't think it is being partisan to say this guy should not play any more football.

As a repeat offender, Vontaze Burfict may face a suspension
NBCSports.com - ‎1 hour ago‎
Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict will surely receive league discipline for his hit to the head that gave Steelers receiver Antonio Brown a concussion.
