Kind of sinister that the OP thinks anyone might imagine it was a fake?

Joe Bruno is, one assumes, Jewish. He is an almost rabid supporter of the policies of the Israeli government. I suspect that he is motivated by anything he sees as an attack on Jews. So, if you have some neo-nazi saying the diary is a fake, he's going to go out to find an article such as this.

I once had a girlfriend who insisted that Anne Frank was a made up person, created to garner sympathy for Jews. I told her, "For God's sake, there are still lots of living witnesses who knew her or met her." Yes, somebody "might imagine it was a fake."

Yes, like I said, a sinister person. Holocaust deniers are sinister.

As a matter of fact, I've never been to Israel and I pay very little attention
to Mideast politics. I really don't even know what Israel's policies are.

Why does that matter?
