I just watched Bill Maher try to attack John O'Neill... and he got his ass handed to him. The man doesn't sound like a nut. He sounds like a man with a legitimate gripe (no, I wasn't there, so I don't know if it is a legitimate gripe... but that's how he comes off).

Really? You didn't see Maher struggle? You didn't hear the silence of his audience? You didn't hear him run roughshod over answers because they didn't fit his argument? Really?

Maher had to shut him up a handful of times as he prattled on trying to answer questions Maher didn't ask.

I'm guessing the audience sat there with their mouth open (like me) astounded at the man's venality.

i saw this on friday ( if you're talking about bill's hbo).

i don't understand why the "un-rightwing" zealots aren't bustin' this guy's chops all over the place!!!

bill! dammit! the guy is sittin there complaining about kerry and cambodia, after you busted him on wounds and antiwar, and you didn't use the nixon tape to frag his dumb ass.

and kerry isn't kicking ass either.

i agree with you which is why i wrote the previous. they make it so freakin' easy to nail them and the left is either doing dumb animal tricks or being polite.

too bad the rightwingers don't play by the same rules.
