Well, the other western democracies are barely out of monarchy, give them time to grow up.
It's a bit much for you to say "world standards" when that is not what you mean BTW...
yep fair cop re the world standards.
The monarchy thing is just meaningless nonsense.
But - to each their own.

Well tell me what countries you are citing, many have just barely got kings and queens off their money, some haven't even done that yet.
This would be relevant to the politics of their democratically elected representatives because.....?

wait a sec, are you now limiting your point to just the elected officials, also which countries were you refering to specifically?
And how a democracy was granted to its people shapes those people, there is a difference between fighting for freedom and having it handed to you by a monarch that you worship as better than normal.
Just say we grant that point for a monent - or I pretend to (what differences are you contending, and what is your evidence? Leaving aside an assumption of "better", which I deduce you are also contending) - what is your evidence for not having fought for their freedom?
I assume you are aware, for instance, of Britain's centuries long history of struggle for its freedoms? Of Italy's? Of Greece's? Of France's? (Who helped you win your revolutionary war - only to bore it up Britain, of course, but still...)

I do.
But he just ain't cutting it...sigh...
I suspect that we are biased towards the left, as using a computer requires a level of intelligence not normally possessed by fungus, which is what most conservatives are.
I'd put a smiley here, but I've decided they are gay (sorry dlowan.)
I voted in as a seven - just one above "centre".
Though I do wonder and worry a little about those who voted as "one" or "ten".

I think they was kidding - or commenting on the wrongness of the poll options.
A little overdue, but - excellent idea for a poll, Grand Duke.
I'm sure people voted "1" - ie, furthest left - without seeing themselves as "communist". We do have a resident anarchist, after all - wonder if he's been in already?
A resident anarchist? Who are we talking about?
Dys(lexia) is an anarchist, no?
No, that was a joke, he said. Someone called him that, so he played with it. And where is he, anyway!
Fascism and communism are pretty similar. Is there another option?
So who all voted "1", eh?
(I voted "2")
