"A.B.B." = "Anybody But Bush", a notion the subscribers to which are in great, even preponderant, evidence hereabouts. Also a notion which tends to tilt some who otherwise might better be characterized as centrist toward the left.
Personally, while I generally subscribe to the right side of the force (
), my core feeling is that the prime functions of federal government as established by our constitution are to provide for national security, expedite commerce both domestic and international, and to prevent either the majority or the minority from imposing tyrannies favoring their own particular interests. We pretty much ain't there yet.
I suppose I would characterize myself as a Jeffersonian Democrat with Libertarian leanings. That by default makes me a Republican with reservations.
