@George,
I'm getting pumped. Have a meeting right up until the start of the game, gonna Uber it home and have dinner and a beer waiting. Good times.

@George,
Good Grief, George, your team is going like gangbusters.. Pretty darned good for getting a C grade for your draft by the yahoo rating person!

@George,
Yup, your guys went gangbusters everywhere. Especially the Jets defense, that's a huge point total for a D. Great week!

I feel bad for all the injuries, though, it sure seems like a lot of people were sidelined this week.

Cheers

@Cycloptichorn,
True re the injuries. I don't blame everything on this, but I read a good article somewhere (forget where but may still have in my files) about problem in the whole NFL related to training matters, some mandated if I remember, maybe by the union, again I forget. I posted about it with the link a while ago, maybe on this thread. In blunt summary, too much time off without some basic exercises that can ward off ACL (etc) tears, especially in some players with certain body features, not only preseason but over quite a bit longer stretch of time. Oh, I do remember it was written by some prominent orthopedist at Mayo Clinic.

That wouldn't have helped Dez's foot, though.

@ossobuco,
McG, I'm a little late on replying re Hayne (we talked on the Hayne thread) - I still don't know, busy mulling.

to all, I'm having a memory lapse: does yahoo f.football have a DL category? I'm supposing not, but I've decisions to make and a DL space might affect that.

I posted about waiver wire change on the yahoo site. Right now there will be an automatic waiver period from game day for 2 days. I think the only people that should be on the waiver wire are players that have been dropped. Players already available should remain so.

Can we get that changed?

@McGentrix,
I'm guessing that was related to it being the end of the first week and will go back to normal, but never trust me.

On my dl question, never mind..

There is a "Weekly Waiver" setting.
Our friendly neighborhood commish has re-set it to "None".
That ought to fix it.

Awesome.

I'm not usually a braggart, but... my son was notified today that he is a National Merit Scholarship semi-finalist. Yep. My son is smarter then me... *sigh*

@McGentrix,
Hey, that's great. Great news. My brother won that award when we were younger.

I'd sure be a lot happier with Charles if he'd STOP FUMBLING at critical junctions of the game...

@Cycloptichorn,
This is definitely not the first time Cyclops has picked us someone else's leftovers, and proclaimed he was now set for when the playoffs rolled around.
