Seems to me that all religions are hateful in their own right.

Not untrue, but I've done social experiments and Christianity is slammed alot by the same people that claim they love GOD. Who would you hate on a religion that claims all you have to do to survive is listen to the one you love - without some sort of bad influence on your way of thinking?

He doesn't give me anything, He isn't around to give me anything.

I resist temptation based on common sense and human decency. In fact I'm rarely (if ever) tempted by anything at all. If I see something I want that I can't afford myself, the thought of stealing it doesn't even enter my mind. God doesn't need to tell me that. If the bible didn't exist it wouldn't be any different.

How was the universe created? In your opinion.

Also God gives to those that atleast claim him. If you had a significant other that claimed you didnt exist, would you buy them a porsche anyway?

I don't know and neither do you or the ancients. It's inconsequential to living life anyways. People have always asked that question out of wonder.

Actually it isn't. The closest it gets is to say "don't bear false witness against your neighbour". So lying about your age, your penis size, or your knowledge of the Ten Commandments is fine. As is rape, slavery, paedophilia, necrophilia and a host of other activities.
