Okay. Waiting.
Reason for the delay, Frank, is that they've appointed for its study, a committee of editing-routine writers

You are included, if that is what you are wondering.

Are you going to suggest you are not?

@Frank Apisa,
What level of certainty would you feel appropriate?

"It snowed and it snowed the whole world over (with evidence there was no god).
Snow (and proof of God's nonexistence) swept the world from end to end.
A candle (fuelled by Frank's denial) burned on the table.
A candle burned."

In my world...certainty is certainty.

But, if you consider there to be "levels"...I would say, any level that allows a person to reasonably say, "at least one god exists" or "no gods exist."

@neologist,
Kolyo apparently think there is a sufficient "level of certainty" to aver that there are no gods.

Do you agree with Kolyo?

@Frank Apisa,
I must agree with Frank, subliminal reasoning powers suggesting yes, there appears to be a Plan to the Whole Thing

Another day when I wouldn't give it any thought were it not for threads like this.

I've got things to do, carpe diem and all that, there'll be plenty of time to deal with the existence of gods when we're dead.

@izzythepush,
You have a point Izzy, and actually bottom line is regardless of how hard you believe, no one really knows until you pass. Either you will find a paradise (or another environment) or there is nothing and you won't really know because you are dead.

Conventional wisdom of course, Glit. In one version however, She's here and doing things but doesn't provide any sort of afterlife

@glitterbag,
Thank you. I've never been able to understand the need to state one's philosophical position ad nauseam. As far as religion goes I know I hate going to church, I was forced to do it too much as a kid so I don't do that any more.

Amazing that you've never been able to understand the need to state one's philosophical position ad nauseam, Izzy, because you do it ad nauseam.

Me...I have no trouble understanding the need at all.

@Frank Apisa,
No I don't. That's the one thing I don't do. All I've admitted to is not being a Moslem and hating going to church, as for what I actually believe/don't believe I've kept schtum.

Unlike you I don't think there's any form of moral/intellectual superiority to be had by nailing my colours to the mast. And trying to inflict one's beliefs on someone else is boorish in the extreme.
