@Blickers,
At least edgar has a good memory. Hell, I can't remember what's happened last week!

@cicerone imposter,
Between the supplements for various things and meds for high blood pressure, I can't remember the pills I took an hour ago.

@Blickers,
To give credit where it is due, I can see how it would still be relevant today considering she is now running for President. I admit her hawkish stance has worried me and still continues to. I only hope she has a counter balance as I think Bernie would be worse as in unprepared and leans towards an isolationist.

@revelette2,
What matters is what she's doing, not old news someone hopes to slime her with.

I don't like to see that happening in any political discussion by anyone's supporter.

The problem is, people who support Clinton so loyally are blinding themselves to what she will be as president. You can call telling the truth sliming, but if the slime fits -

I'm open to the possibility that I'm wrong about Clinton (hard not to be after I was wrong about Obama). I don't think I am though. She seems to be very level headed and would lead intelligently. I don't want a revolution; for the most part, most Americans are doing great and things are moving just fine.

Are you open to the possibility that you may wrong about her too? Or that you may be wrong about Sanders?

She is as I have portrayed her, up to an election year, and suddenly she is a liberal. Rolling Eyes

So....No. You're not able to admit to the possibility that you may be wrong about her. Or that you may be wrong about Sanders.

Got it.

Yeah, almost all I'm seeing are a bunch of copy/paste articles/tweets/etc. He's rarely even giving us his opinion on what he's posting. Not a lot of thought being shared on this board (not that he's not doing it in private, but hard to see that from his posts).

@maporsche,
It's fairly clear what Ed is thinking, for anyone paying attention.

Now for instance, he is arguing that Hillary cannot possibly have changed that much in recent months, that she is just saying things people want to hear, and that once elected she will turn back to being a republican-lite. :-)

Since I'm not a Clinton supporter , I'm safe to continue calling that effort sliming.

@edgarblythe,
One could easily argue that those opposing Clinton are blinding themselves to what she will be as President.

It tends to be those opposing someone that are more wrong about an eventual President.

No, but he unsuccessfully tried to bankrupt Social Security through his "private accounts" plan, so you have to give him an A for effort on that one. Very Happy

She's not Republican-lite. She's always stood up for Social Security and Medicare. Republican-heavy means you want to cut off all social programs immediately and to hell with the consequences. Republican-lite means you want to cut off Social Security and Medicare gradually so the old people's path to living in cardboard boxes on the sidewalk won't seem quite so jarring and abrupt.

@Blickers,
Tell that to Ed -- I'm just translating for the reading impaired among the Hillary supporters, who appear to have difficulties understanding the English of Bernie supporters...

But perhaps they just don't want to hear. :-)
