I'm currently doing the stay-at-home mom thing and running a handyman business with my hubby. I'd love to work in a school setting with elementary age kids. I really love working with the little ones. Although I have more experience counseling teens. Thanks for asking. My last job was working with 'at risk' teens from all kinds of bad situations. It was hard, good work.
Do you work? What do you do?
I guess it could be construed to be so. I certainly look at the state of the life of the person I am thinking of taking advice from before I ask or seriously consider taking advice from anyone. I've been lucky enough to have good friends who are sensible and have been able to help me through my hard times - I've never had to consult a counselor- but I understand that they can be very helpful to those who are open to such help.
Do you consider yourself to be an egotistical person?
Yes I do.I do my bit at wealth creation.I follow government guidelines.
Do you have your own ideas about that?
Me? No. Not really, but to answer Spendi-, I don't find it egotistical to try to help someone who is having problems psychologically. I'm trained to do that. It's not like playing God.
What would you most like to do that you have not done as of yet?
creating wealth and following government guidelines? Sounds pretty productive.
Devvie - I am a teacher who also happened to spend most of my days with at-risk teens. Also loved it. I'm not working currently - I had to have my credentials approved to work in the UK. That just came through about a month ago - so I will probably do so next school year.
I knew we had something in common!
Where are you from, aidan?
Well-I wouldn't have minded Sophie Loren being madly in love with me.That's one thing I missed out on.Or Liz Taylor before she went to seed.
What else have you got in mind?
I grew up in NJ, but lived most of my adult life so far in North Carolina and Maine. I've been living here since last September.
How about you?
Oh-I've always lived here.Apart from a period helping to steal oil.
Are you in favour of men stealing oil?
no - creates huge, world-wide problems.
Do you feel it's important to help people?
That's why we steal oil.To help people.
Didn't you know that?
No, there's just so much I don't know.
Do you ever feel that way?
aidan - Grew up in western Michigan - conservative capital of the world, if you ask me. I've lived in Phoenix, AZ and have travelled all over the states, to Canada & Mexico a bit, and Panama on a military trip.
Spendi- Yes, I do think it's important to help people when and where you can.
"The more I know, the more I find I don't know"! - Just that much more for me to learn!
Are you an old fuddy duddy or young at heart?
I can do both.
Which do you prefer?
Young at heart; but what I am may be old fuddy duddy - qui sait?
Are you a person with lots of friends or just a few close ones, or do you just do family?

Yes! Lots of friens, a few very close - some include family.
Would you rather travel alone or with a group?
I can't answer that because either could be just as bad as both.Mostly I prefer not to travel at all but when I have done,(years ago when I was completely stupid),I was just as miserable when I was on my own as I was with a group.Posibly more so with the latter who did have a tendency to get on my nerves.
Have you ever tried hating travelling?
