@Dutchy,
Not unless it's pertaining to my ancestors, or I'm really in the mood.

What are you intending to do today, other than shopping?

@Dutchy,
I make a mean spaghetti meat sauce from and old Italian recipe. Takes all day to make, but well worth the wait!

What is your favorite wine or alcoholic beverage / beer?

@devriesj,
I love a glass of Brown Bros "Moscato" wine with my meals, it is light and fruity.

Do you like reading?

@aidan,
Sure has. After many years of drought we have had one of our wettest and coldest winters on record. All our water reservoirs are full and overflowing and after 6 years our severe water restrictions have been lifted in the city. Inland the deserts has have become enormous inland seas attracting thousands of visitors.

Have you ever experienced an earthquake? Friends in New Zealands just did with dire consequences.

@Dutchy,
No. Really, about the only severe weather I've ever experienced would be blizzard conditions as I've lived in Maine and I've been through two ice storms in which electricity was knocked out for a week or so. Even when I lived in North Carolina, I lived inland, so although there were hurricanes and tropical storms along the coast, I never felt the effects where I lived.

So you guys must be heading into Spring now - is that right? What is your favorite flower?

@aidan,
Indeed we are, although presently we still have winter temperatures, but that will change by the end of November when some real hot weather will start. My favourite flower is the Sturt Desert Pea, one of the most beautiful wildflowers you'll ever see, they grow in the hot outback of South Australia.

@Dutchy,
Those are beautiful.

I've visited quite a few countries in Europe: UK, France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Greece...there are still a few I'd like to see.

If you could have been born and raised in any country, including your own, would you have chosen to be born in the country in which you were born, or is there a country you've visited in which you'd have rather been born, and if so, which country would that be?

@aidan,
I was born in Holland and although I've lived 85% of my life in Australia, a country which I love, I shall always have a soft spot for the Country I was born in.
However to answer your question, Australia would definitely be my choice.

Do you know much about Australia, its people, life style and climate?
