Germany, Bavaria, close to Augsburg, something with "burg", an exhibition by a Vietnamese artist ...

Hmm. I hope Satt figures it out, 'cause I can't.

I did, however, find this stunner...which may have made my day.

Pourquoi, warum, why change threads? I ask only for enlightenment.
Are those little things littering the ground the cakes from Alice in Wonderland which grew from the pebbles thrown by Bill the Lizard's friends when she was in the White Rabbit's cottage? If so, that's the White Rabbit's Cottage.

That's indeed a beautiful painting Piffka, I like it too.

Clary, some of us had difficulities loading the old thread
and Walter was kind enough to open another one.

I thought someone would post a new picture. I'll give
you the answer of mine: It is Veste Coburg, where Luther
was hiding and writing his thesis. This particular picture
was taken during an exhibit by a Vietnamese artist - Dao
Droste.

Here is Veste Coburg

and another picture of Dao Droste's exhibit

Droste is quite famous, btw.

And Coburg as well: thanks to the Dukes of Sachsen-Coburg and Gotha, Coburg became the cradle of European high nobility

where am i II
this reminds me of some of the exhibits at our local art gallery at queen's university. while they have some beautiful old masters, they also allow modern art into the gallery.

here is one modern exhibit called "HELPLESS ROBOT" by norman white. i think it should have been called "HELPLESS COMPUTER" . that would be quite appropriate for us, don't you think ?
