It is difficult to understand from where you are sitting.

Do you think I would fabricate such a claim?

I have already, sort of, I jumped out of a hot-air balloon in Colorado. Scariest 8 seconds of my life.

Didn't it occur to you that his requirements could be of a personal and private nature?

Not really. I guess I thought that since he posted it on the forum, the fact that he wanted to borrow money wasn't an issue he felt that he needed to keep private. So I inferred that he wouldn't mind saying what he needed 56,000 dollars for, but in the event that he did, he just wouldn't answer the question. That's the beauty of this game Mathos- never any pressure to disclose unless you want to.

Would you ever lend anyone 56,000 dollars without asking them what they wanted it for?

I have done young lady, but on both occasions they were people I knew well and trusted, (with anything) I never considered it prudent to enquire what they wanted the cash for, it was obvious to me that it was important to them to have to ask me in the first place.

Do you know any people who your psyche is so strong with that at times you sense their problems across oceans ?

So you've lent out the equivalent of 56,000 pounds-no questions asked? Wow! And I thought I was a generous soul...

Yes, I have several people in America (my sister and one of my students)- and one person on this island (UK) with whom I share that kind of rapport.

Does that kind of thing make you feel reassured- less alone in the world- or just freaked out?

It's a special thing Aidan, somewhat akin to a gift I think, or the bonding is so powerful it simply develops through that, I have no ideal answer, I prefer to go along with the bonding.

What does that mean? Test me-or whoever else answers this before I do- in what way?

Suppose I asked you to take a pencil and paper, and at a given time to blank everything out of your mind except Mathos! If you sensed a vision, would you draw it down on the paper. Shortly after the given time, I would tell you what I had wanted you to draw.

I'm either going to be right, or totally wrong, aren't I ?

I can't draw- so I wouldn't be able to blank the tension I'd feel at being asked to do something I'm bad at out of my mind. How about asking me to write a word- or think of a song or something?

And in any case- we're not across an ocean from each other- are we? I thought you were in the UK...also I don't feel that we have any kind of special rapport...I don't think you understand me and I know I certainly don't understand or know you very well at all.

But go ahead- try to test me- and I'll try to test you.
