Your far too negative to start with young lady, taking it too flippant, it wouldn't work under those conditions.

Is it all right if I ask you again in a few days?

Negative in what way? Because I don't think we have that kind of rapport? Do you think we do? If so, what make you think so?

OR: if someone else answers this:

Are you, or do you know, one of those people who just keeps asking the same question over and over until they get the answer they want?

(Like little kids who try to convince you of something and they say, "You don't understand- or - you're not listening"- to which I always say, "I do understand" or " I am listening- I'm just not agreeing.")

I like an answer to a question, but if it becomes obvious to me that somebody is evading a certain question, I won't push it.

Do you always take an obstinate stance on something you don't wish to reply to?

No, I told you- go ahead- do your test. You're being obstinate because I didn't automatically agree to do it the way you wanted me to- although I was just suggesting an alternate method. I didn't say- I WOULDN"T do it your way you little crybaby.

are you gonna do your test or not?

Your not up for it this evening young lady, as pretty as you are, your showing signs of aggression here, you have to let that go. It has nothing to do with your choice of what you write down, I can work with that, no problem. At present, your like a cat on a hot tin roof and it would be nigh on impossible to communicate with you.

Do you always have tantrums, when the ball is not in your court?

I have been doing my best to strim a large and steep slope, which is a feature. Due to the rain, I have been on my bloody arse, bounced down the slope, through two flower beds and onto the bottom lawn about four times. I stopped short of dropping into the pond last time, strimmer and all, so I gave it up as a bad job.

I'll do it tomorrow.

Why are you sat there with a silly grin on your face?

It's all a little clearer now- and you're trying to make it seem like I'm in the one in the bad mood. I gotta hand it to you though if you were out there in today's rain trying to mow a hill-you're a better man than I would be.

I'm grinning because despite what you're trying to imply- I had a really nice day today. Although I got all my cd's confiscated from my bag at work and I'm gonna have to answer to someone about why I was bringing them in- I had some nice communications with some good friends- so it was a good day.

Why do you think it would be against the rules to listen to and share music with people who have problems/issues?

I wouldn't personally view it as a problem, however, I am not qualified as to what, if any effect the wrong music might have on their behaviour.

Does that become a possibility in your opinion?

No. Unbeknownst to my employer, I'd been bringing in music for about a week now. My immediate supervisor knew- but not the big boss. And what I found is that it had a very calming effect on the classroom (I chose it very carefully) while at the same time exposing these young people to compositions and genres of music they'd never heard before. I thought it was pretty much a win/win situation.

I guess I'll have a chance to explain my reasoning- but it was pretty embarrassing getting searched and one of my colleagues behind me followed me into the staff room and said, "Rebecca's the first person I've ever seen them confiscate so much stuff from that they had to go search out a bigger than usual bag- I had 24 CD's they took. I guess they thought I might be trying to sell them or something like that...who the heck knows.

Isn't it the most rewarding thing though when you are able to introduce an experience to people who may have come from a culturally deprived background and you just see them light up and soak it in like a sponge. Do you have any experience like that in your life/job?

Many times with lads from the gym! I like them to see and experiences sections of life they are unaware of as existing.

No. My life's an open book, pretty much. Everyone who needs to know anything already knows everything...I'm the kind of person who can't sleep at night until I confess anything I might have done that I think was wrong in some way.

Are you a good rationalizer? Or what's your defense mechanism of choice?

Yes. Always...in fact my sisters got really mad at me for not telling them something about a member of my family that my father had told me and asked me not to disclose. So I didn't- for years- not even to my closest sister. And when she found out I had known before her- she was really kind of mad at me.
But when someone shares a confidence- I keep it private- even if it seems petty or of little consequence to me.

Do you like to blab other peoples' business around?
