Now that we had the rains and the ground is satuarated I work in my garden everyday. It not only gives me pleasure to se my veggie plot growing something but it also is a good exercise. Right now it is midnight and I'm off to bed. Goodnight all.

How much sleep does an adult need do think?

About six hours on average.

Do you need an alarm call?

No, never. I knock my head against the pillow a number of times corresponding to the hour at which I want to wak, and it works every time.

Do you take a pride in your property, or is it just somewhere to live?

I'm very attuned to my surroundings, inside and out, so I enjoy making and having them beautiful and comfortable.

Are you a messy or neat person?

I am neat minded, everything is filed in my mind, and when living alone, can be neat. But other people's mess encroaches, and I let it. Then I stop being neat myself.

Do you live alone or with one, two or more others?

I live with two others and a dog most of the time.
And the others I live with are messy and I'm neat so I know about encroaching messes, but I can't seem to stop being neat myself.

Do you live with any other earthlings?

Ah, I had a relationship with an earthling but it was just too weird... so now I live alone.

Doesn't the dog make more mess than all the humans?

Only when she's shedding or if I take her walking in the rain. She's a pretty neat dog, as far as dogs go. She doesn't dig or destroy things and just generally doesn't make any problems.

Not to get personal, but was it the sharing your space part that you found weird? Are you more comfortable living alone?
(The reason I ask is because I never, ever have lived alone for more than a few days at a time, but the times that I have, I've really enjoyed it- not that I want to get rid of anyone Laughing - but maybe someday if it works out, I'd like to try it, just to see what it's like to be totally on my own schedule without having to worry about anyone else's).

Herme alone Aidan and they never look happy!

Why are the majority of women never content with what they already have in life?

Perhaps they think a change is as good as a holiday.

Do you think women should be spoiled or should it be the other way round?

That's exactly it Dutchy- not unhappy with what I have- just the kind of person who would like to experience all the various lifestyles life has to offer. That's why I move around so much- there are so many different kinds of lives to live- I have trouble choosing just one.

I think ideally, it should be a little of both. I think my parents may have set an unrealistic example in that my mother treated my father like he was the king of the castle and my father treated my mother like she was the queen. No disrespect allowed toward either of them- their birthdays were always the big events of the year, etc...
They treated us kids great- but they never spoiled us- though they kind of spoiled each other. I thought it was nice though.

But I don't think it's like that anymore. I think most parents treat their kids like they're the be all and end all. I've very rarely felt spoiled by my immediate family (although they're certainly nice enough to me) but I guess I always saw my mother as being really, really treasured and it's just kind of different these days.

Do you spoil your spouse/significant other? Or if you have children, do you feel that most of the attention is focused on them?

Aidan has developed quotinitous again!

It should have read Hermit young lady, I must have cocked up the key board! Christ there will be a fee to pay for this Mathos! Who said? Aidan gets mad if your grammar isn't so good. Oh does she, well that does it then, I suppose you will have to submit to her whimsical ways.. Ha ha Mathos!! Your in trouble..

I absolutely ruin my wife, I let her clean my shoes on a regular basis. She is allowed to clean the underside of the car with the jet wash and
spread the manure in the garden when she has bagged it and wheeled it down from the equestrian centre a few miles up the road.

You didn't for one minute think I would not look after her did you?

No, I knew you could be depended upon.

Speaking of spoiling spouses/significant others- did you read the thread about the woman who won't put her teeth in when her husband asks her to? Do you think it's unreasonable for him to want her to put her teeth in- or do you consider that as him being too focused on her outward appearance?

Well teeth do not come into it in my wifes in and outs young lady. She also has a figure that would be, and is the envy of women less than half her age, coupled with an extremely pretty face.

However, I always expect her to be dressed to perfection, even if we are in the jungle. I have a thing about appearances and cannot understand why women especially young women, let themselves go! They blame it on children, husbands, work, a multitude of ironic excuses and never look at the boxes of chocolates and junk food they scoff like pigs!

Would you be happy to go out with a bloke who resembled a tramp?

Depends. I'm not that big on appearances Mathos. Honestly- I never, ever have been. I would ten times take a good brain and sense of humour over a pretty/handsome face. If I like a person, I usually grow to like whatever they look like.

But he would have to be clean (I'd wash his clothes for him if he needed me to) and he would have to wear his teeth when we went out.

Have you ever really liked a person's personality, but not their looks and let that be a determining factor in whether or not you asked them out?

Yes, I have, I have admired women for various reasons, still do, but I was never able to have a settled relationship with them!

Does that mean I am expecting too much would you say?

Excuse me Timberbranch. Feel free to answer that at your convenience.

I am rather pedantic in cleanliness and appearance, both in the home, garden areas, cars, dress, hair and nails etc. Would you consider this trait a plus or a minus in your book?
