I was going to work, but have decided that the rain is quite happy out there without me intruding on it. So, I will do some jobs indoors, and have another nice relaxing day.

Do you know we have a Federal election coming up by the end of the year? Our PM, President Bushy's puppy, wants to be re-elected for another term. He doesn't seem to realise that the Australian people are sick of his foreign policies and will give him the flick. He has had troops in Iraq from day one, answer me just one question, what threat was Iraq to Australia, and what have they ever done to us?

The present lot have shown they haven't got any sense and are not likely to improve on past form.
Going on from above, did you know the politicians in my State have allowed every pub to install poker machines causing a monumental social problem through compulsive gambling. What do you think of that idea?
I think simplifying gambling, especially when adolescents can reach the pay point is very poor housekeeping. In government terms it is obviously another method of extracting tax from money which has already been taxed.
The sky television stations play poker games, phone in gambling etc. etc. it is common knowledge that hopefuls are running up colossal debts on their credit card facilities and telephone bills at around 75pence per call.
Would you like to see more control of these situations or a total ban on the same?
I think we should just get rid of it. It'll turn out just like everything else- causing problems and more problems that will never be solved.
