You know my sister said the same thing to me today. She's taking care of my parent's dog who has this breathing issue- she's an old dog and she pants very audibly with every single breath she takes. Well she was thinking about how annoying it sounded and she said it reminded her of the last time I was home and I walked in and heard the dog breathing and said, "Now that doesn't even sound right- what's up with that," and my mother got all defensive and my sister said that she and her daughter were laughing about it and she said, "I'm gonna call Rebecca today- and not two minutes later I called her."
I'm not feeling any malice toward anyone today. I just thought it might sound like an interesting question.
