I'll watch just about anything if there's someone I like in the film. I won't even think about watching a Brad Pitt movie- but I'll go see anything with Anthony Hopkins in it. I'm looking forward to seeing the Painted Veil with Edward Norton. That looks interesting to me. I like a good story and decent actors..

What's the best film you've seen lately?

I watched one with Anthony Hopkins in a few nights ago, my grandson was staying over and he wanted it on, it was a good film too 'The Human Stain' made in 2003 I seem to recall. I enjoyed it, but obviously like yourself I like A H he is a brilliant actor somewhat akin to Richard Burton.

Have you ever been to one of the London theatre shows, if so which or more if you have seen more than one would you reccomend. If you have not been, which, if any would you like to see?

I was just talking today to a friend who plays violin for a living and he said that one show not to be missed is "The Lion King".. He filled in for a friend of his in the orchestra and he said that he was just blown away and overwhelmed by the giant animals and the magical theatricality of that production. He said the music was great too- and he's not a pushover in that department.
My daughter is dying to see Chicago.

I saw the Human Stain- I really liked it. I went to see Anthony Hopkins latest- Fracture. The plot was a little thin- but once again- really enjoyed his character.

He's such a funny guy and really good at playing evil- although I guess he's supposed to be kind of vague and shy in real life.

Do you enjoy theatre? Which, if any London productions would you recommend? I thought A Moon for the Misbegotten looked interesting- but I didn't get over to see it. I don't even know if it's still playing. Do you?

It's a number of years since I took a visit to theatre to be honest Aidan, however, my favourite four over the years are as follows;

Fiddler on the roof.

Cats

Starlight Express

Les Miserables

I'm not sure about A Moon for the Misbegotten, but you could Google and check it out.

We have just had a sad ceremony as Man U were undeniably well beaten tonight, their play was poor to say the least. So the better team won, we decided it would not be good manners to drive a double decker bus through the window of the local Italian Restaurant this evening.

Do you have heart pangs when your favourite team or sportsman of any description who you follow, ...gets beaten?

Following sportsmen????!!!!!. What do you take me for? I love seeing them get stuffed. Trying to pretend it's sexy training all day and having ice-baths and injections and operations and being bought and sold like onions. And as for teams. Businesses. You might as well follow Tesco. In fact had you followed Tesco you might have more money now.

Have we to send someone round to comfort Mathos?

Wrong, I wouldn't cross the road to pee on him if he was ablaze.

Do you think I should re-arrange his facial features?

I wouldn't know. Could they use rearranging? Not that I'm advocating violence....

Do you get over defeat fairly quickly or do you mull over it over days?

Don't be daft Aidan, we have three more Premiership games two of which could see us installed as Premier Champions. Then we are in The FA cup final playing those lucky scousers.

Have you ever been to a Premier football game?

Heavens above, I wonder why Aidan never replied to this one?

She never mentioned it when we were dancing.

Did she go dancing with you?

Yes but I had to send her home for being silly.

What on earth did she do?

Well we were on the threads,

Yes.

Hang on I'll explain it this way.

Ah we're drinking and we're dancing
And the band is really happening
and the Johnny Walker wisdom running high
And my very sweet companion (That's Aidan)
She's the angel of compassion
She's rubbing up the world against her thigh (Thats when it started)
And every drinker every dancer
Lifts a happy face to thank her
The fiddler fiddles something so sublime ( I bet he did)
And then Aidan tore her blouse right off
Mathos danced on the polka dots (See she got me in trouble too)
It's partner found and partner lost
And its hell to play when the fiddler stops

So it was throw out time.

We were lonely and romantic
and the cider's laced with acid (LSD for the ignorant)
and The Holy Spirits crying where's the beef?

(I was looking for a butcher)

And Aidan was swimming naked
And the summer night is fragrant
With a mighty expectation of relief
So we struggle up the ladder

(Me and Aidan, trying to get her out of the pool)

To the tower where the blessed hours chime
And I swear it happened just like this
A sigh; a cry; a hungry kiss;
They gates of love they budged an inch
I can't say much has happened since

"Its closing time"

Jesus- I guess I should have answered the question- No I've never been to a premier league football game.

Mathos- Are you on drugs- or just indulging in your customary fantasy?
I WISH my life was so exciting. And by the way- you're a great writer.

Quote:
So we struggle up the ladder
(Me and Aidan, trying to get her out of the pool)

But what's this about? How come Aidan can't get out of the pool on her own? You always throw in these little loose ends that you never tie up.

But seriously, I think you've found your writing niche. Songwriting....have you had any of these songs you write published?

Confession of a window cleaner Aidan, I pinched that off Leonard Cohen, I'm not that bloody good, maybe I am, but I nicked that one.

Glad you liked it anyhow

You'd been drinking most of the Johnny Walker, so I had to dive in and get you out of the pool..

Okay- yeah I was thinking- I knew he could write, but I didn't know he had anything like that in him.

I haven't heard that one.

I wouldn't drink Johnny Walker- If/ when I have, I've been drunk and sick as a dog in no time flat. Not a pleasant experience.

Don't you know it's very dangerous to drink and swim?

Looks like the pricks been overdoing the viagra!

Flip back a few pages dick and that question you will find has already been answered. There is little if any point at all in you jumping into a thread like a ball-less cock and irritating the flow of things. unless you take heed of the topics within the sphere.

Get the drift?
