Maybe if we ....well I believe there will be but we just have to find it not sit on our rear ends and do nothing about it.

Do you believe there is a way to stop hate?

Didn't the late John Lennon write and sing a song which gave the ideal response to such questions?

Not a chance. A mere icon being pathetically iconoclastic as usual.

Wasn't it written for the chintz curtains brigage?

Loads. Unending list.

Imagine all the people
Kicking seven bells of **** out of each other.

Don't you think he should have written that?

So he imagined something out of sight. Not of this world. I can do that but my psychiatrist told me to knock it off.

It's a species of "nuts" isn't it?

No. Not at all. My psychiatrist examined me thouroughly and pronounced me "sound as a pound." The £ was $2.80 at the time.

Is that his reminder that it's time for a check-up?

Quite, my friend and highly rated shrink Doc Benwright, always gives me a clean bill of health, but insists on a future 12 month re-check just in case, do you think he is obtaining money by deception?

Yes. He knows you're off your rocker to be consulting him and he's just patting you on the head for reassurance.

Aren't cheap psychiatrists all the same?

Not really, we have a good meal and fiddle the expenses through our business accounts, is your's too cheap to operate in a business-like manner?

There is certainly no "business-like manner", in the accepted usage of that term, but it equally certainly does not come cheap.

Are you a strict materialist or a sentimental old fart?

Not really. It struck me that "fiddling" the expenses is a low key version of "kicking seven bells of **** out of each other" and I was having difficulty squaring the sentimental drivel of Imagine with such a sensible strategy.

Does it not seem confused to you?

Of course I agree with paying taxes, I do however object to hard earned tax being squandered on illegal wars and weapons being used to blow innocent men, women and children to kingdom come.

That is no way for our leaders to be behaving.

Do you think we have (as a nation) acted irresponsibly with regard to the unwarranted attacks and invasion of Iraq?

If I thought that I would be demonstrating in Whitehall. I wouldn't wish it to be thought that my virtuous views were only for presentation purposes and came cost free.

The war was voted on in the House of Commons and received assent by a large majority which included the opposition. How can it be termed "illegal"?

Why do you seek to discredit our government so gratuitously?

I don't agree with our leaders mis-leading Whitehall and the population that Sadam Hussein was in possession of WMD capable of being fired on the UK, when everybody knew he wasn't.

How many deaths will it take to explain, why too many people have died?

We are our government. We gave our assent by voting for them.

I don't think Dylan meant what I presume you take him to mean if you are referring to-

"How many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died?"

He's not a social worker.

I don't vote so I have not given my assent.

Do you vote?
