ok, then, what's your favourite part of day?
Definitely about 3am in the morning; enjoying the town's peace and dormant beauty...
Who do you think is the worst-made (i.e. most unbelievable, or pointless) character of any book, film, whatever?
Despite liking the movies, I think James Bond. He has to be the most unrealistic MI6 employee ever! Most of them nowadays sit around at computer, in Thames House!
But I still think the films are great!
When did you last see a movie, and what was it?
Two days ago, and it was I, Robot. A good romp.
What is your favourite way to spend a hot sunny afternoon?
If it were hot, I would try my best to get away somewhere cold, and read in the gloomy shade. If there was no chance of that, then I would probably want to go to the theatre, or read while taking a cold bath, or-- if I were on the road, as I am now-- wander aimlessly.
If you had to choose between living in Paris, New York, Tokyo, Sydney or Berlin, where would you live, and why?
I'd live in Sydney. I've been to all of them except Berlin, and Sydney was the most spectacular location and had a reasonable climate. I also have friends there
If you had to choose to live in any country, but it had to be in a village, where would you live?
That's easy, Strove, a small village west of Siena.
If you could excel at any sport, which would you choose?
I would choose basketball, I think; I could make a stir as a woman playing with the professionals. Either that or fencing, which I love anyway.
Do you have a motto?

Do you have a motto?
Yes, it is a little pessimistic:
Expectations are in inverse ratio to fulfillment. Besides being pessimistic, that view is not always true, er, fulfilled.
Do you have a question to carry on with, Osso?
I see was so taken by my motto that I forgot the question.
Do you like striped cloth?
Well, I suppose it would have to depend on the cloth and colors. I don't like to wear horizontal stripes as they make you look bigger. I like to shop, but seldom have time or money! Oh, the answer to the question would be, in general, yes.
If you HAD to choose, would you rather be deaf or blind and why?
That's easy too. I am somewhat threatened in real life by both, and know I would be more crushed by blindness. It would be very hard at this point to learn to communicate when blind, and I have always been a very visually tuned person, and a little slow in ear brain cognisance.

But it isn't pessimistic if you're Buddhist. Keeping expectations low, part of living in the NOW and not pinning hopes on the future, means that you are likely to get pleasantly surprised a lot of the time!!
Another question from Osso, please! (Or has she sneaked off to Strove?) And to be going on with, do you watch and enjoy the Olympics?
O, Dang, did I forget a question again?
On my dictum, ain't nothin to do with Buddhism, it's from meself, it is.
Circling the drain for a question....
ok, do you prefer velvet or silk?
er, for a nightie or blouse, silk, for a sumptuous dress or skirt, velvet, and for care, neither (ironing? handwashing? forget it)
So do you watch and enjoy the Olympics, and if so what sports?
I prefer to play, and I rarely enjoy watching, because I find it somewhat unstimulating. I watched Greece versus Australia in a bar yesterday, and it was all right, but the only things that I enjoy watching are Handball and hockey.
If you had to go back to school or University, would you change your attitude or what you studied?
