Not fancied anything lately.I 'm inclined to rest on my laurels after my Derby/Grand National exploits.
I'm toying with the idea of backing England, something I rarely do,in the Test Match series against Australia. The first five-day match starts next Thursday.

Are you a good swimmer?

I used to be.I half lived in the sea for nearly a year.

That's probably why I don't care for pools unless they are very large. And swimming in the sea where I live is considered a form of attempted suicide.I also got used to the power of flippers and it's all a bit slow without them.
But I like the feel of water.

Ever dunked your head in a horse trough?

No, I'm not! I've learned how to swim relatively late, and other sports too, since my father was always concerned something could happen to his precious daughter. He nearly drowned once, so his fears became mine, I guess.

So, you like to watch sports events?

No.No story.Where I grew up there were horse troughs here and there.Everybody called them horse troughs but they were for cows to drink from.
Cows were in fields then not pens. Some of the troughs were cut out of stone but a few of them were old baths out of houses. The real horse trough was always stone and was where the coaches stopped for the night. They get covered in moss and were fed by a spring and you could see the bottom real clear. You must have seen some in movies.
On a hot day meandering about as I did it was great to shove your head right under and come up shaking your hair like a dog would. It was a regular thing in summer.Probably strengthens immune systems or kills you.

Do you prefer urban living?

That's all I know. I've never lived in the countryside,
and I am not so sure, if I would like it. Even though I don't
make use of it all the time, I like to have city life at my
disposal.

What's the population in your town?

I would be surprised if you didn't have thoughts you daren't tell us about.Whether I would consider them naughty is another matter.

What sort of naughty thought motivates you?

I thought someone else would answer by now Wink
Okay, generally speaking, suggestive behaviour would
tricker naughtyness, if one is motivated to think that way.

You didn't think that I unbosom
my own thoughts openly, did you?

No.It never entered my head you would do that. But if a naughty thought motivates you and then you behave in certain ways in front of people who don't know what the naughty thought was that is motivating you to behave like that how are they going to understand you?

Do you like feeling you are understood?

Yes, I do. However, the people who don't know what the naughty thought was that is motivating me to behave like that, and don't understand, shouldn't understand. It
sometimes is intended for one person only, and this person
will understand without the others understanding.

I sound like Woody Allen now, don't I?

If you mean having an ability to satisfy yourself that you've talked yourself out of a tight situation then yes that is a bit Woody like.

What did you think of Zelig?

Although I am familiar with the story, I haven't seen Zelig.
I don't like Allen's movies, they're make me almost angry,
when I see how he makes simple events so complicated
and neurotic, that even he will have difficulties, remembering the starting point.

Do you like this kind of movies or rather behavior?

I thought Zelig fantastic.I like him alright and have read a couple of his books which are a bit forced.
You brought him up so I thought you must like his stuff.
I think all events are complicated anyway and complex as well.I don't just think it.I know they are.

If you were to assert that I'm insecure or grumpy is that not a complicated event?

I like some of Allen's quotes, as they are so twisted, one
has to read them a couple of times to understand.
No, it's not a complicated event when I assert that you
are insecure and grumpy. It is merely a statment I've
made, based on the information I have gathered or
rather the impression I've got from some of your postings.

Why does life need to be complicated?
