@RABEL222,
People do have Damascus moments other than some fairly nasty thing, in fairness sometimes in answer to someone else's rudeness or short temper, she's been fairly consistent in her stands and been using by and largely acceptable mainstream sources.

I've changed my mind about capital punishment (totally against), the war in Viet Nam, party (was Republican now I'm green), hated any sort of gun control but now want serious controls over who gets any sort of firearm.

People's opinions do evolve.

The Hillary Clinton presidential campaign has begun using an odd new line of attack against upstart Democratic primary rival Sen. Bernie Sanders: He’s too liberal on taxes and universal health insurance. Why is she doing this? After returning to the position in which she entered the race—as the near-certain nominee—she seems to be setting herself up for the general election. But it’s strange to see her now, after the previously shaky ship has been steadied, attacking a candidate whose supporters she’ll need in any general election campaign over an issue that his supporters care about very deeply.

Triangulating against Sanders (and, by proxy, the left wing of the Democratic Party) with conservative attacks does make some sense. For one, she is a Clinton, and this is what they do.

Perhaps the Clinton campaign has some horrific polling data that’s leading them to launch this direct assault on Sanders, or it’s just trying to distract everyone from Clinton’s bizarre explanation at Saturday’s debate for her voluminous contributions from Wall Street over the years. But it also seems like Clinton feels like she has the nomination secure and is triangulating ahead of the general election, mortgaging progressive policy in the process. Does that sound familiar?

I am a little not clear as to what it up as well, because any idea that she needs to fear Sanders seems far fetched, and yet it is months too early to run to the center. My best guess is that her people have already decided that Trump is going to be their opponent, and that she she no longer cares about the far left, she is going to try to put together a collision of those who still believe in the competence of the elite no matter the ideology, that she will run as the anti Trump. Under this theory she is getting ready now because she has a great fear of Trump.

But like I said, only a guess as of now, She could just be being stupid again.

@izzythepush,
I notice you like to say this a lot to several people.

I also notice you like to create and maintain a lot of bullshit. You're hands down the biggest asshole on the site.

I'll go back to pretending you don't exist.

@ossobuco,
Osso. I dident impugn your opinion. Just because you seem to like Lash does not mean I have to adhere to your opinion. I have my own which I believe is just as pertinent as yours.

@bobsal u1553115,
Sorry Bob but I dont buy ultra conservative to ultra liberal. Lash may be the good person Osso said she thinks she is but her obvious hatred of Hillary has to color her posts, and does so.

@RABEL222,
You are welcome to think what you want. I tend to agree with you on a lot of matters in general, but in the meantime, not this one: those of us who have met Lash don't think she is a liar, much less a plant, whether or not we agree with her on any given thing. I get to mention that. You get to ignore the information.

End of subject for me.

Whether Lash...and others like her...are plants or not is not as important as whether or not they are hurting the progressive agenda with this over-the-top demonetization of Hillary Clinton.

Progressives have to realize just how important this presidential election is. The Republicans control a vast majority of the state houses and governorships...the House...the Senate...and increasingly (and unfortunately) the supposedly non-partisan Supreme Court.

They cannot gain control of the White House...and anyone doing as much as Lash is to demonize the person most likely to be the party nominee of the Democrats...is doing damage. UNNECESSARY damage.

If Hillary stole her husband or lover...Lash ought to get over it. (At least until after November of next year.)

@Lash,
Lash wrote:

Izzy fabricated my portion of the conversation, and intentionally misrepresents it because he gets off on it. Whatever floats your weird little boat. It is very doubtful that I called him a ******* liberal since Bernie and I are actual liberals and I refuse to let that sniveling limp dick in my wonderful club.

I generally don't favor such personal epithets, however Izzy presents such an unusual combination of extreme sensitivity to any criticism of himself or his country, together with extreme irritability and a remarkable willingness to use hurtful criticisms of others who merely disagree with him - all capped off with shallow thinking, and weak understanding - that I believe you are entirely justified. I think "sniveling limp dick" fits him very well indeed.

Happily he is self-limiting. In a few hours we will forget about him. However that poor bastard will be a contemptible, sniveling, limp dick, asshole for the rest of his life.

@Lash,
You're the only person who asked there was some justification in Nazi propaganda.

You can go back to breathing the dank clouds of ignorance, vanity and stupidity.

You said you'd put me on ignore a long time ago. Try to stick to it this time.

MSNBC just gave a load of air time to Hillary to give a long speech on national security. I wonder if Bernie will get the same.

@Lash,
You aren't the first person to notice this. He has done with several people over the last year or so. He did the very same thing to me a few weeks ago by only copying and pasting a short portion of a longer conversation. When I called him out on it he suddenly got quiet and stopped responding.

@Brand X,
Perhaps if they get emails in to demand, they might. He does have takes on these issues listed on his website.

Where does Bernie Sanders stand on national security?

Investigative journalists are now beginning to call it what it is.

Hopefully, Bill and Shill will be in prison instead of the White House again.

They created the environment to sell off our country brick by brick, and Hillary's coming back for one more massive payday.

@Baldimo,
No, you started using the phrase Moslem instead of terrorist. You then made a load of misleading statements about your identity. You then accused me of lying and editing your posts, and then you embarked on a circular argument. You didn't call me out, I got fed up with having to explain things.

In that you are like Lash. I got sick of explaining things to her as well.

I only call stupid people stupid. I've never called Finn or Georgebob stupid. I've called them other things, I don't like or respect them, but they're not stupid. You two along with Hawkeye and BillRM, are stupid, very stupid.

@Brand X,
I rarely watch the news on tv, so of course I didn't see it. But apparently he gave a very good speech which did include of ways to fight ISIS.

Here’s Bernie Sanders’ plan for fighting ISIS

@Lash,
You are a self-planted plant...who's aim is to damage progressive chances of prevailing in this next election.

By now, anyone who does not see it...is refusing to look.

The last laugh will come when Hillary is sworn in...and you see your destructive efforts were all in vain.

See there you go lying again. I never once claimed to be someone else. You did your lame copy and paste routine to try and prove I said something I didn't.

You are also mixing up and throwing together different instances of things that have happened.

I called you out for deleting your own posts, and then denying you did it. The only mistake I made there was claiming you had admin privileges you didn't have.

You can't even get these simple things correct without being honest. You are a liar.
