@bobsal u1553115,
Bobsal...you are right on the button on several things...

...but on the question of whether Paul killed anyone...Squeaky is correct.

There is no evidence that Paul ever killed anyone.

The only food I noticed was waffling.
But explain to us:
Exaxtly what subjects are included in the two types of understanding?

For example would an undestanding of the identity of the "disgusting thing" Jesus mentioned by Jesus at Matthew 24:15 be milk or meat?

How about the identity of "Babylon the Great" mentioned at Revelation 17:5?

@Frank Apisa,
Paul actively supported the stoning of Stephen, however. And he delivered Christians to whatever punishment the Jewish authorities might conjure up.

@neologist,
How do you get actively?

Acts 7:58
58 and they cast him out of the city and stoned him. And the witnesses laid down their clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul.

@bobsal u1553115,
You seem to have missed this one.

John 7:24
24 "Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment."
(NKJ)

1 Cor 2:15
15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.

Only some times.

2 Cor 12:16
16 But be it so, I did not burden you: nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you with guile.

If I didn't get it, I wouldn't be able to quote it. That's the way it works.

Every cult is begun by someone claiming to have the true version of a religion.

Well, here is a point with which I do not agree, Squeaky.

Jesus actually did not start a religion.

Peter...and more importantly, Paul did.

Christianity!

But Jesus?

For all you know...Jesus died sorta like the way Vincent Van Gogh did. Considering himself a failure. Nothing happened until he died...and people like Peter and Paul decided to promote his ideas from which the Christian religion was born.

Van Gogh died without ever selling even one painting. Not a one throughout his entire career. Yet his paintings now sell (if offered for sale) for hundreds of millions of dollars!

@Frank Apisa,
D-, Frank.
Jesus instituted the New Covenant, without which Christianity would not exist, nor would mankind have any hope.
