@Squeakybro,
Apparently you think I am trying to trap you.
Well, I am.
You and Patches have widely divergent interpretations of scripture. I wish to highlight them and will continue to do so until the truth shows clearly.

@neologist,
That's fine with me. You are the one that will answer for why your doing it to God. But if your a Pharisee you will never find the truth.

2 Cor 4:3-5
3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus' sake.

@neologist,
Which is the new testament.

Heb 9:16-17
16 For where there is a testament, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
17 For a testament is in force after men are dead, since it has no power at all while the testator lives.

@Squeakybro,
Gospel means 'good news', right?
What is the good news?

@neologist,
Everything in the new testament is good news. I'll bet your looking for the resurrection.

@Squeakybro,
Resurrection is an American fantasy drama.

Here again: aside from a copy & paste job of your bible, you have nothing
to say and nothing to explain. You probably don't even understand half
of what's written there and never mind the individual interpretation.

Let me ask you a hypothetical question: lets pretend you are in your 80s now and you have lived all your life according to the bible. You deprived yourself of so many things in life due to bible restrictions. Yet, at 80 years old you find out that there is no God. Wouldn't your entire life have been a farce? Wouldn't you have modeled your life after something that doesn't exist? Wouldn't you regret to have lived according to a book restricting yourself from enjoying life as it should be?

@CalamityJane,
Life is a gamble. Your gambling that there is no God. What are you going to do when you turn 80 and find out there is a God. And its to late to be converted.

Now that is arrogance. That decision is Gods and Gods alone.

@Squeakybro,
I think it's wildly arrogant to think that god/s is/are interested in any individual human being.

He seems to be. He called me and guides me. I don't know who He is but He is.

@Squeakybro,
You might want to consider how very arrogant that belief of yours is.
