@Squeakybro,
Quote:I am not preaching at others on how to live. I have the Holy Spirit and when He gives me verses I share them for all to see. That is called edifying. I always tell the truth, I show people things they have never seen in the scriptures before. I stick to the facts. That is what I am suppose to do.
What you need to understand here is that is exactly how it appears when you do all that scripture blasting. Jesus was Jesus. He spoke in parables, yes. He is the Son of God, and had a much stronger connection to His Father than we can achieve as humans. Remember, The Three are One. He was not subject to the mind of the flesh in the same way we are.
Sin veils our eyes, our hearts, our lives. We will never be completely free of that until death. That is actually the context in which this whole milk/meat concept was spoken. If you read through the apostles letters again you will see how they refer to themselves and each other... As teachers, not as even being comparable to HIm.
Why teachers? Because teachers TEACH those who do not know certain things the things they need to know and understand in order to equip them for future things. For greater knowledge, that eventually turns into wisdom as it is learned and applied to ones life. Milk verses meat.
You can't hand a kindergardener a pre algebra book and expect them to learn anything from it. They are still learning how to count. You meet them where they are, take their hand, and walk WITH them through the steps to get to pre algebra. In the meantime, teaching them the things they need to know in order to be able to comprehend it at some point.
You don't just drop them off at the side of the road somewhere, tell them they are pathetic or an idiot because they do not yet understand the things you do, and drive away. That is not the love of Christ.
