They are what are known as self-hating Jews.

Long ago I did. But after all the dishonesty and double dealing from the Palestinians and the Europeans, enough is enough.

I think maybe an idiom is not translating well into English?

I'm just sick of all the lies and hypocrisy and double dealing. The Israeli people were right to vote for an end to peace talks.

I'm very happy for the Israelis that they are resolved to not put up with that nonsense anymore.

By the way, there actually is still going to be a Palestinian state. It's just not going to be based on 1967 borders. When the Europeans extend recognition to the Palestinians, their state will come into existence, but only with what land the Palestinians already possess. Israel will continue to retain full control over all of Area C, and maybe also Area B.

I'm just glad, contrary to your seeming belief, you are not really in charge of the world.

@oralloy,
You have been fooled by the israeli government for years into believing their lies about the peace process, and now you've been fooled again, only to belive another set of lies. Bibi owns you.

Spare me the Orwellian "truth is a lie" nonsense.

You had your chance to get 1967 borders. You blew it.

Enjoy having a Palestinian state composed of tiny little Bantustans. I know I will.

No such Apartheid. Your anti-Semitism is despicable.

Remember where the word "Bantustan" come from, Usatino? You used that word to describe the land left by Israel to the Palestinians, you vile anti-semite!

I hope Israel seizes Area B. The Palestinians should really be confined to Area A alone.

These areas have little actual meaning. In practice Israel occupies the whole place.

So let's return Area B to Israeli control then.

Israel ended their occupation of Area A back in the 1990s, when everyone had been fooled into believing that the Palestinians were interested in peace.

@oralloy,
Even Area A is routinely re-occupied. These zones are obsolete. That's why Abbas wanted to disband the PA altogether at some point. To stop the charade.

Nonsense.

Olivier5 wrote:

Israel will keep full military control over Area C.

The Palestinians will be crammed into Area A, which will become the "Palestinian State" once European governments recognize them.

The only question is what will happen to Area B. I say Israel should seize it.

Let me put the Obama administration on notice. You may not like the fact that Prime Minister Netanyahu won, but he did, and here is what you need to understand. If you are recalculating the administration's support for Israel in terms of how you handle resolutions in the United Nations, you need to understand that Congress will recalculate how we relate to the United Nations if you stand on the sidelines and let the U.N. take over the peace process.

There will be a bipartisan, violent backlash in this body if the Obama administration does not veto a U.N. resolution defining the peace process in the Security Council, avoiding direct negotiations between the parties. I am here to say that one of the casualties of a haphazard foreign policy could be the relationship between the United Nations and the Congress. I promise there is bipartisan support in this body for two things: to stand firmly with Israel and not to allow the U.N. Security Council to take over the peace process in defining the terms of a deal.

The United States needs to impose crippling sanctions on the Israeli people for their will to oppress the Palestinian peoples.

Apparently, this megalomaniac thinks that he and the US Congress are more imortant than the United States of America itself, and he's being allowed to legislate?

Make that "the nations of the world". High time for global economic and military sanctions against Israel.

He speaks for the American people on this matter.

America stands with Israel.
