@Patrick454,
I'm glad you mentioned your age, that explains a lot. I've had the pleasure of living thru the teen years of my sons and my nephews. I've not raised girls but I'm pretty sure they go thru similar phases that are probably just as aggravating.
We've had a few teen girls who are just as obstinate and disrespectful as you are, you will grow out of it around 18 or 19 I hope. But in the meantime, please study and absorb all the sage advice you get from our resident SMBD expert, the much beloved Hawkeye. I'm not sure how old he is, I'm guessing late 50's to late 60's, but I recoil from actually researching anything about him. I worked Intelligence for 32 years so I know logically that reading other peoples thoughts can't make you ill, but whenever I read Hawk I sanitize my computer screen for fear of contracting some sort of a carnal flu.
It's peculiar he thinks I'm old money, but then again he believes anyone who doesn't live in a mud hut is old money. I think he means well, he's just socially maladjusted. If you want to grow up to be Hawkeye, follow his advice. If you want to grow up to be a decent man, look elsewhere.
Finally, I'm chalking up your defiant and dismissive and insulting remarks as typical of a 16 year old boy. If you're anything like my kids and their friends and my nephews, in about 3 years or so, you will be a much better person.
