I had a friend of a friend who had one that was slowly destroying his yard and escaping and driving the neighbours nuts while he was at work.
So he decided to leave it in the house one day. It chewed through a plaster wall and ripped out a power socket and chewed the cable. Sadly that solved the problem.

@FBM,
True? I'd never heard a bad word about dalmatians. Red Setters on the other hand are renowned for being incredibly stupid.

@Pearlylustre,
I ate kangaroo on my latest trip to Australia, but I can't remember what it taste like. Can somebody enlighten me? It's been many decades ago.
There is no such bird as a Piking Shrike. There's not even a real Piping Shrike (which appears on the South Australian flag) even it's made up https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piping_shrike
I know I enjoyed it, because I don't have bad memories of it. As I recall, it wasn't gamy.

It's gamey. Yuck
Kangaroo tail, which is beloved of indigenous people living out bush, is said to be lovely because it has the gelatinous quality of ossobuco. The remote community stores are well stocked with frozen tails. I never tried it because I can't stand gamy meat, and roo is way too gamy for me.

Wow - I'd never read Found Soul's answer to the original question.
Clearly a South Aussian 'Piking Shrike'! Balderdash.
It's a Peewee (in NSW), or Magpie Lark if you want to get posh.

Piping shrike is one of the names for it here. It's our emblem, so shut yer gob
I never said it wasn't your emblem (the opposite in fact) what I said is that there is no such thing as a 'Piking Shrike' and no such bird as a 'Piping Shrike'. Read the Wikipedia entry - even you guys can't agree what bird your emblem is based on.
