@oralloy,
Laws that mandate how electors must.vote have been in place for years already and not been declared unconstitutional. Dont bank on scotus. Trump has been underwater since the election. His impeachment his coming recession his chronic lies and his corruption will sink him..

@MontereyJack,
I'm banking on this interstate compact never coming into force to begin with. But the Supreme Court could very well strike down such laws.

As for Trump sinking, that's unlikely. You should look to 2036 as the Democrats' next real shot at winning the White House.

And you should look forward to that future Democratic president starting off their term by being impeached (and maybe even removed from office).

You're living in a pocket universe of alternate reality.

There is no such thing as alternate reality. There is only reality.

The fact that reality is incompatible with progressives' demented ideology does not make reality any less real.

@MontereyJack,
You would be wrong again as usual:
https://www.cnn.com/2019/08/21/politics/electoral-college-ruling-colorado/index.html

Quote:
(CNN)A federal appeals court has found it was unconstitutional for Colorado to block an elector from voting for a candidate other than the winner of the state's popular vote in 2016, which was Hillary Clinton, in a ruling that likely tees up more major court action about the Electoral College in advance of the 2020 presidential election.

Do you ever get tired of being wrong, it must be tiring.

Pure pie in the sky. Your 20 yearishes have no existential validity. 4 year periods outnumber them. Say bye bye to trump in 2)20.

Not at all. Progressives do all sorts of demented things, like trying to violate people's civil liberties for fun.

@MontereyJack,
Nixon/Ford were an example of Republicans holding the White House for eight years.

Andrew Johnson only got the presidency because he was VP when Lincoln was killed. He was in the middle of a 20 year period of Republican control over the White House.

The fact that the Democrats held the White House for only four years under Jimmy Carter does not change the fact that you are wrong to say that a political party cannot hold the White House for 20 years in America. It has happened three times already.

Ttump condemned the Ec when it looked like obama would win it but lose the pop vote to romney. Asit turned out obama won both. Then trump did lose the pop vote but got the ecc and suddenly trump is the worlds biggest ec fan.. Talk about self serving.
