If the people who wish to play with mass murder firearms wish to do so at any cost an the only way of dealing with them is to go with the UK model of almost zero firearms allow even my revolvers you are damn right I would give them up.

Take note that the EU nations including the UK are not police states due to some maladjusted late teenager not being able to get a weapon of mass murders at whim.

Note the reality that giving up firearms will do nothing to prevent mass murders.

Mass murderers will simply use alternate methods of attack if they cannot use guns. The only thing that is achieved by banning guns is the loss of freedom.

But anyway, let me know when you actually give up your guns.

I don't know if the term "police state" applies, but these countries are certainly no longer free, and that's a shame.

Thanks but I do think the UK had gone somewhat overboard as in for example not allowing their international pistol team members to practice without leaving England to do so.

However the NRA is full of such people as Oralloy who wish no restrictions of any kind no matter what the body count end up being as a result an given only choice between the current US gun laws or the UK laws I will sadly side with England long live the Queen.
