My daughter-in-law taught at a title I school in Annapolis, the school provided breakfast and lunch. You're right, those meals are the only meals many of the children get.....the teachers try to load up their backpacks with excess food on fridays so the children have something to eat over the weekend.

It's dismal, the teachers even bought a washer and dryer because too many kids were arriving in badly soiled clothing. The staff would do the laundry for the kids and provide them with a semblance of normalcy. The children at these schools do not have a normal home life, the staff trys to even the playing field.
It's truly dreadful, most of us can only imagine what life must be like for those children.

And now Trump, who has never missed a meal in his life wants to take lunch away???
