@maporsche,
It has beeen more than 70 years now since the realignment that saw the sehrrgationists go to the GOP. I think it is safe to say its permanent.

So did Farrakhan in 2008, they just hid the endorsement and the picture.

Presenting misleading pictures that make the crowd look smaller than it really was is very much lying.
One picture. Other publications showed the crowd at the time of the inaugration, and it was still way, way smaller than Obama's inauguration. Meanwhile, Trump lies his head off about his crowd was way larger than Obama's. And you feel poor Trump is being mistreated. Sorry, no.

It was a lie for them to make it appear that the child was being brutally ripped away from her mother.
The girl cried because her mother was being searched. The fact that the girl was one of the few lucky ones who were not separated from her mother after being taken into custody is immaterial-most of them were. Even now the courts are demanding that the thousands of children forcibly separated from their parents be returned to them. You are looking at insignificant details to complain about while moral atrocities are proceeding apace.

@Baldimo,
Quote Baldimo:

They [Democrats] didn't pass the 1964 Civil Rights vote, the vast majority of the passing votes came from the GOP, not the DNC.
And who was the president who pushed the Civil Rights agenda? Johnson, carrying on Kennedy's agenda when he took over.

Name a MAJOR civil rights bill for blacks that the Republicans ever pushed. There aren't any.

@coldjoint,
That was the last gasp of the Repiublicans as the Party of lLincoln. By 1876 they were just another appendage of the Robber Barons. It wasn'ttil Kennedy Jonson that the country addressed the sins of segregation, and it wasn't the Repubs that did it. It was people like John Lewis, the Heart of the House, Democrat.

It is wrong for the media to lie about the size of Trump's crowds.

The fact that the media misportrayed the picture is highly material. It is wrong for the media to lie about Trump.

The fact that the media is lying to demonize Trump is hardly insignificant.

And what moral atrocity? Children have always been separated from their parents when their parents are sent to jail.

The Republicans joined with Johnson and were instrumental in the passage of his civil rights bills.

I agree. Seems to me there are plenty of moral atrocities out there and turning this situation into one only minimizes the real ones. No one is dying, no one is being tortured, no one is being starved. In fact they, those children, are better off than they were before, either with the parents or without.

More republican wrong thinking, protect the abusers neglect the victims.

These people are pure vile and need to be shown the door.

Vile and hateful people need to be removed from office through the ballot box. They got into office through lies and false pretenses (how Christian) voted in by their scumbag fake Christian supporters.

The days of this republican scourge on our democracy are surely numbered.

Any take on the Christian religion from you is worthless. And about as real as your concern about the children.

@TheCobbler,
Trump is giving the rich another $100 billion tax cuts. The government is already running a $1 trillion dollar deficit during Trump's first 14 months in office. Interest rates are going to increase to fund the debt. In other words, everybody else is screwed.

If we lived by Gods law you would not be so mouthy. In some countries you would not even be alive. You should keep that in my mind and count your blessings instead of using something you could care less about to fight your battles.

People sure are not acting like that. Just the sore losers looking for something to make people as miserable as them. The tax cuts helped 80% of Americans. That is just a fact you can't change.
