Why don't you stop acting like a broken record? When Romney ran against Obama in 2012, the question was asked which was the greatest threat to the US. Romney said Russia. In a following debate, Obama sensibly said al-Qaeda, which had blown up the WTC and was blowing things up all over the world.
Obama saying that al-Qaeda at that moment was the greater threat-an accurate assessment-in no way means that Russia was a friend or that we could take our eye off Russia. It merely meant that Obama had a brain and recognized the biggest threat to the country in 2012, which unquestionably was al-Qaeda.
PS: Isn't it a little lame to accuse Obama of being soft on Russia with Republican President Trump saying there is a moral equivalence between the two nations?
