@TheCobbler,
I have said many times that I'm not voting for Trump, so the stupid mouth that needs to close is yours. You ******* assume to much. If you had even paid a little bit of attention to something else other than your utter hated for those you disagree with, you would know I have posted Gary Johnsons website on several occasions. Here I'll do it again for those of you to stupid to realize that there are other people out there other than Trump and Clinton.

@Baldimo,
I thought the last sentence said he lived in a house of tacos. I can see why you'd vote for him.

@izzythepush,
You can see why I would vote for Gary Johnson? So you have read up on him and the positions of the Libertarian Party? Good for you Izzy.

@Baldimo,
If nothing else, I'd pick Gary Johnson for his views on immigration (as least as I understand them).

I also like what I've seen of his thoughts on term limits.

He appears to be fiscally conservative and socially liberal, much like the Canadian Green Party. A little too conservative for my overall taste, but beats most Republican options I've read about.

A bit older than I like federal politicians to be, but that's my Canadian bias.

@ehBeth,
I didn't give him any more than a cursory once over. He's not likely to be the next president and I don't have a vote, so that's about what he's due.

@Baldimo,
You embody most of Trumps misogynistic ideas so it seems evident you would vote for him.

And I got news for you, Gary Johnson is not in the race. Currently there is Hillary and Trump (Bernie is a lost cause) and you seem anxious to paint Hillary as the less qualified one.

And did Hillary get a rapist off or was it the judge and jury that made that decision? I don't know of many lawyers who are also judge and jury. If the guy was guilty where is your animosity toward the others involved? Hillary simply presented the case like most lawyers do.

I don't trust you for many good reasons Baldimo.

You are no more a libertarian than Trump is a progressive. You helped make Donald Trump.

Stop fooling yourself and others.

Gary Johnson has less chance of being president than Bernie.

Libertarians are stupid people who think the roads and schools build themselves.

Press Release
Sanders Statement on Nevada
May 17, 2016

Twitter Facebook Email Link

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders on Tuesday issued the following statement:

“It is imperative that the Democratic leadership, both nationally and in the states, understand that the political world is changing and that millions of Americans are outraged at establishment politics and establishment economics. The people of this country want a government which represents all of us, not just the 1 percent, super PACs and wealthy campaign contributors.

“The Democratic Party has a choice. It can open its doors and welcome into the party people who are prepared to fight for real economic and social change – people who are willing to take on Wall Street, corporate greed and a fossil fuel industry which is destroying this planet. Or the party can choose to maintain its status quo structure, remain dependent on big-money campaign contributions and be a party with limited participation and limited energy.

“Within the last few days there have been a number of criticisms made against my campaign organization. Party leaders in Nevada, for example, claim that the Sanders campaign has a ‘penchant for violence.’ That is nonsense. Our campaign has held giant rallies all across this country, including in high-crime areas, and there have been zero reports of violence. Our campaign of course believes in non-violent change and it goes without saying that I condemn any and all forms of violence, including the personal harassment of individuals. But, when we speak of violence, I should add here that months ago, during the Nevada campaign, shots were fired into my campaign office in Nevada and apartment housing complex my campaign staff lived in was broken into and ransacked.

“If the Democratic Party is to be successful in November, it is imperative that all state parties treat our campaign supporters with fairness and the respect that they have earned. I am happy to say that has been the case at state conventions in Maine, Alaska, Colorado and Hawaii where good discussions were held and democratic decisions were reached. Unfortunately, that was not the case at the Nevada convention. At that convention the Democratic leadership used its power to prevent a fair and transparent process from taking place. Among other things:

The chair of the convention announced that the convention rules passed on voice vote, when the vote was a clear no-vote. At the very least, the Chair should have allowed for a headcount.
The chair allowed its Credentials Committee to en mass rule that 64 delegates were ineligible without offering an opportunity for 58 of them to be heard. That decision enabled the Clinton campaign to end up with a 30-vote majority.
The chair refused to acknowledge any motions made from the floor or allow votes on them.
The chair refused to accept any petitions for amendments to the rules that were properly submitted.

“These are on top of failures at the precinct and county conventions including trying to depose and then threaten with arrest the Clark County convention credentials chair because she was operating too fairly.”

U.S. Deported Two Million Mexicans in 1930 Claiming They Were Taking Jobs: then needed them back in

Donald Trump seems to be enjoying some success at the moment by pandering to America’s lower-order primates with all his “tough talk” about deporting residents of Latino ancestry, regardless of citizenship or residency status. Well – news flash, Donny boy…America tried that once. It didn’t work out so well back then, either – and about ten years later, the US federal government was begging them to come back.

Like Donald Trump, President Herbert Hoover was a right-wing, corporatist, Republican hack. Most infamous for turning the US Army on the country’s own citizens during the “Bonus Army” incident in 1932, Hoover was clueless on how to handle the economic catastrophe that came in the wake of the Stock Market Crash of 1929. The Great Depression was a direct result of nearly a decade of Republican control and corporatist policies. However, instead of trying to address the underlying rot, Hoover’s Administration focused on treating the symptoms of the disease. The GOP didn’t hesitate to find scapegoats. Case in point: Americans of Mexican descent. Many of these families had been in this country since before the signing of the Treaty of Guadelupe-Hildago in 1848, when much of the western US was part of Mexico. Most were legal United States citizens, and many had property (the treaty allowed Mexican families to keep their lands after the US takeover).

None of this mattered in 1930. Wall Street and the banksters had put the world economy into the toilet. Unemployment was well on its way to double-digits (it would peak at nearly 24% by 1932). Most ordinary citizens didn’t understand why it had happened – they only knew that their incomes were shrinking and jobs were getting harder to find. It had to be somebody’s fault. At the same time, Hoover needed an issue to use in order to divert criticism of his Administration. Mexican-Americans were the perfect target

@TheCobbler,
You're letting the rightwingers set the agenda. Universal Health Care is not free stuff, it's a fundamental human right.

@bobsal u1553115,
Same **** different day. I have been hearing this same crap about millionaire Bernie's lust for MONEY MONEY MONEY and it is definitly not convincing enough for me to vote for him. I will fair much better with Hillary.

He is a career politician in denial who is filthy rich on tax payer money but he could not spend any of his wealth on down ticket democrats???!!! Only Hillary has done that. Consider that a microcosm of how he will really treat the middle class. Bernie's has plans to tax the middle class to death... that is the only way to pay for his promised universal healthcare and free college. Without down ticket democrats his "promi$es" are nothing but pipe dreams.

Politifact has rated Bernie's claim of corruption in Nevada as TOTALLY false.

Now, four more of his top advisers have deserted his campaign.

He stands to lose more delegates because he has lost the basic good will trust of the party.

Yet his die hard fans may never know of the real deception Bernie has perpetrated.

I see it as take the middle class, who is hurting right now really bad, and play off their fears and hardship to get elected. NOTHING could be more dastardly and low.

If he does not help down ticket democrats what will he have to bargain with? While Hillary has given "millions" to down ticket democrats to insure her policies will have a quorum once she is in office. She could have used Bernie's help, not his vinegar criticisms and terrorism bros. If Bernie really cared about the party he would not be dividing it for his own gain.

Nevada Democratic Party leaders "hijacked the process on the floor" of the state convention "ignoring the regular procedure and ramming through what they wanted to do."

More of your bullshit. Do I agree with the libertarian stance 100% of the time and on all issues? No I don't. This is more the same anti-anyone junk you throw about when someone doesn't agree with you 100%, get over yourself.
