I don't like to hear criticism of Hillary for how she ran her campaign... It was near as perfect a campaign as could be run.

Her campaign was far from perfect, she didn't even bother to campagin in a couple of the big swing states. It wasn't close to perfect and that has been admitted by those in the DNC who are not blind.

Trump didn't cheat, he won fair and square, you just happen to be a sore loser who supported a weak candidate.

In a true democracy, Hillary would have handily won the election.

We don't live in a true democracy and we never have. The rules for President haven't changed since the first election and they will be the same going into this election. Just face it, Hillary wasn't a good candidate and had a lot of issues that the media helped her cover up. She lost, face the truth or it's going to consume you.

@Baldimo,
Smearing an opponent with "millions" of lies, an army of bots and targeting people on social media with fake news is how a cheater wins...

Hillary did not need to campaign at all... she just expected an honest opponent with some common decency.

Hillary needed to campaign more.. oh really?

So she could combat the millions of lies told to people who had already convicted her and did not want anything to do with the version of her told to them by the Russians?

And you also are a liar...

Your word does not mean **** and your opinion is crap.

Benghazi 24/7 Fox News commentary broadcast night after night spewing out republican hate and character defamation?

How can anyone campaign against that?

Hillary was the more qualified candidate and would have been far better for this country than the racist pig in the White House now.

People know what you crooked republicans have done, they won't be fooled again.

Your credibility is in the negative numbers, still moving steadily down...

All candidates need to campaign. Not doing so, indicates the person thinks they are better than that or that they have no real interest in the position other than a line on their tombstone and in their obituary!

She expected...

She should have known better than to just expect to be handed a win. As it was, other Democrats, with few exceptions, stayed to the side and didn't even make a bid for a run. She had an open pathway and still became lost!

Once again your focus turns to magnifying her faults, blaming the female and our republican trolls are giving you the thumbs up.

Consider the sheer amount of corruption, nothing she could have done would have allowed her to win.

And your insults of her simply play into the blame game narrative of the republican hate machine.

@TheCobbler,
Quote:

1. Hillary Clinton shared state secrets through her private email server.
2. Hillary Clinton uses the Clinton Foundation to launder money for herself.
3. People could “buy” appointments with Secretary Clinton by donating to the Clinton Foundation.

You forgot this one:

In 2011, the State Department cleared an enormous arms deal: Led by Boeing, a consortium of American defense contractors would deliver $29 billion worth of advanced fighter jets to Saudi Arabia, despite concerns over the kingdom's troublesome human rights record. In the years before Hillary Clinton became secretary of state, Saudi Arabia had contributed $10 million to the Clinton Foundation, and just two months before the jet deal was finalized, Boeing donated $900,000 to the Clinton Foundation, according to an International Business Times investigation released Tuesday.

The Saudi transaction is just one example of nations and companies that had donated to the Clinton Foundation seeing an increase in arms deals while Hillary Clinton oversaw the State Department. IBT found that between October 2010 and September 2012, State approved $165 billion in commercial arms sales to 20 nations that had donated to the foundation, plus another $151 billion worth of Pentagon-brokered arms deals to 16 of those countries—a 143 percent increase over the same time frame under the Bush Administration. The sales boosted the military power of authoritarian regimes such as Qatar, Algeria, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman, which, like Saudi Arabia, had been criticized by the department for human rights abuses.

From the IBT (International Business Times) investigation:

As secretary of state, Hillary Clinton also accused some of these countries of failing to marshal a serious and sustained campaign to confront terrorism. In a December 2009 State Department cable published by Wikileaks, Clinton complained of "an ongoing challenge to persuade Saudi officials to treat terrorist financing emanating from Saudi Arabia as a strategic priority." She declared that "Qatar's overall level of CT cooperation with the U.S. is considered the worst in the region." She said the Kuwaiti government was "less inclined to take action against Kuwait-based financiers and facilitators plotting attacks." She noted that "UAE-based donors have provided financial support to a variety of terrorist groups." All of these countries donated to the Clinton Foundation and received increased weapons export authorizations from the Clinton-run State Department...

In all, governments and corporations involved in the arms deals approved by Clinton’s State Department have delivered between $54 million and $141 million to the Clinton Foundation as well as hundreds of thousands of dollars in payments to the Clinton family, according to foundation and State Department records.

http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2015/05/hillary-clinton-foundation-state-arms-deals
___________________________________________________________________________

So basically, Clinton's response to repressive, authoritarian regimes known for human rights abuses and support of terrorists is to reward them with weapons deals, which in turn rewards companies that make the weapons for the weapons deals; and in turn, they all reward Clinton with contributions to her foundation. And yet some believe that she is president material. I'm guessing that such behavior could be interpreted as, oh I don't know . . . narcissistic? Self-serving? Just plain morally wrong? I could go on.

@Glennn,
The Clinton Foundation gets 10 million so they can fight AIDS in Africa and Trump gets billions so he can build a titty bar in Saudi Arabia and profit from it for years...

Somehow I don't see the comparison here.

On May 20, 2017, U.S. President Trump and Saudi Arabia's Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud signed a series of letters of intent for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to purchase arms from the United States totaling US$110 billion immediately, and $350 billion over 10 years.

Trump uses veto to unblock $8bn weapons sale to Saudi Arabia
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-49106989

Why is Trump providing billions in arms to Saudi Arabia?

Answer:
To protect America and because he loves Israel so much... I am sure Trump thanked the Saudis for their human rights record too. Maybe Trump plans to fund AIDS research and make AIDS drugs more affordable for third world countries? Maybe he plans to provide money to climate change research? (cynical)

Glenn, you are a real dumb one...

Excerpt:
Clinton pushed LGBT rights, despite foundation’s anti-gay donors
Clinton during her time as secretary of state “was not involved” in the work of the foundation, but attended the annual meetings of the Clinton Global Initiative, an arm of the foundation that convenes global leaders, according to the website. But after leaving the Obama administration, Clinton served on the board, the website says. A look at Clinton’s tax returns reveals she didn’t take a salary from the Clinton Foundation. [Will Trump profit from his Saudi Arabian titty bar?]

On its website, the Clinton Foundation touts its work in building partnerships to enhance global health, combat climate change, boost economic development and health and wellness and improving opportunity for girls and women. Among its stated achievements is ensuring 11.5 million people in more than 70 countries have access to lower cost HIV/AIDS medications.

“As secretary of state, Hillary Clinton made LGBTQ equality part of U.S. foreign policy, saving countless lives in the process,” Dalton said. “And today, she has laid out the most robust LGBTQ platform of any major presidential candidate in history. There isn’t the slightest doubt she will continue to be a champion for LGTBQ equality every day she sits in the Oval Office. Meanwhile the Trump-Pence ticket continues to be the biggest threat of any presidential ticket in modern history to LGBTQ people — both here in the U.S. and abroad.”

Trump has continued his attack on human rights all while in office and the Saudis thank him for following through on his "promise"...

https://www.washingtonblade.com/2016/08/31/clinton-foundation-took-anti-lgbt-money-advanced-human-rights/

Has Trump done anything to further human rights and the well being of the earth with his ill begotten gains from his hate squad of donors? No! Nothing!

In fact Trump is working his hardest to make us all sick! In the news today..

https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2020/3/4/1924427/-CDC-blocked-top-FDA-scientist-dispatched-to-expedite-coronavirus-response-at-critical-moment

Ever single day there is a new attack on the people of our country by Trump and his republican conspirators...

I will address your other critical attack on Hillary after I address all of your attacks on Trump and his egregious acts perpetrated against our country.

You know like his attacks on countless women, attacks on military purple heart recipients, war veterans who seek to support affordable healthcare for Americans, attacks on career state officials for speaking the truth about him, attacks on his lawyers caught in his crimes, Mexican judges, Mexicans, Canadians (all of lour long time allies), attacks on black skinned US citizens who were born here, attacks on those seeking his tax returns, attacks on elected officials seeking to expose his crimes, attacks on the press and threats to their lives, so many racist statements where do I begin? Attacks on "****-hole countries"...

Where are your criticisms about that Glenn?

If you do not call him out on this, you are no better than he is... I suspect the latter...

Your attack on Hillary is nothing but disingenuous hypocrisy with the vilest of intent...

You know, I trust some fighting AIDS over someone building a titty-bar with their profits...

Trump is doing his best to see that young girls have good paying jobs... (cynical)

@TheCobbler,
Are you sure this titty bar is in Saudi Arabia? That's where Mecca is, they're very, very anti women showing their faces, let alone anything else. Allowing WWE over there is a really big move, I can't see them going any further than that for a long time.

Now if it's in Bahrain or the UAE you might have a point.

Have you got a link to this story please.

Why are jihadis so obsessed with porn?
https://nypost.com/2015/02/17/why-are-jihadis-so-obsessed-with-porn/

These are Trump's buddies, along with the mysteriously departed (had a lot of **** on Trump) Jeffrey Epstein.

Apparently the Koran is only against a women's freedom, but not a male's overtly sexual indulgences.

Recently, London Mayor Boris Johnson described Jihadists as “porn driven losers” who have “low self-esteem and are unsuccessful with women.” He’s on to something important and profound. (Who fantasize incessantly about having sex with porn stars while their 3rd wife is giving birth.)

According to Syrian doctors in a report in the British media, ISIS fighters are buying frilly underwear for their wives and sex slaves — and subjecting them to abnormal and sadistic sexual practices. They may well have learned this from pornography.

The Navy SEALs who killed Osama bin Laden found a fairly extensive stash of modern pornography in his possession.

The 9/11 jihadists visited strip clubs, paid for lap dances, and for prostitutes in their motel rooms in Boston, Las Vegas and Florida.

Anwar Al-Awlaki, the American-born imam who fled to Yemen in 2004 and was later assassinated by a US drone, ate a lot of pizza and visited a lot of prostitutes in the months after 9/11.

As a presumably “holy man,” Al-Awlaki mentored at least three of the 9/11 hijackers, the Fort Hood shooter, the would-be Times Square bomber (Faisal Shahzad) and the underwear bomber.

In the years since 9/11, police raids of terrorist cells in the United Kingdom, Italy and Spain have yielded countless images of hard-core child pornography.

Not only did jihadists use porn for pleasure, they also embedded secret coded messages into shared pornography and onto pedophile Web sites.

In 2011-2012, German police found more than 100 al Qaeda documents concerning terrorist plots embedded within a porn video hidden in suspect’s Maqsood Lodin’s underwear.

According to NSA documents made public by Edward Snowden’s leaks, countless “radicals” have called for Jihad by day but watched porn by night. One damaging piece of evidence shows a “militant” using “sexually explicit persuasive language when communicating with inexperienced young girls.”

This year’s Paris jihadists Amedy Coulibaly and Cherif Kouachi both kept child-porn photos on their laptops, which included “sickening pictures of young boys and girls involved in sexual acts with adults.”

Pornography is literally what prostituted women are forced or paid to do. It is derived from the Greek porni (“prostitute”) and graphein (“to write”).

Porn is a global phenomenon, produced and consumed everywhere and increasingly by people of all ages — deforming the sexual development of young viewers. Watching it desensitizes the viewer to sexual aggression and strengthens existing beliefs that support violence toward women.

It is routinely very violent: 82 percent of the top-rated porn scenes involve physical aggression (slapping, spanking, gagging); 49 percent contain verbal aggression (name calling, insults). The perps are male, 94 percent of the targets are female.

It’s easy to imagine pornography’s empowering effect upon would-be jihadists, who may unable to afford the price of a wife or a prostitute, who are young, without normal sexual outlets and already predisposed to violence towards women — and to pedophilia.

Yet, while most of the Muslim world is profoundly sexist (and while porn is everywhere there, too), few Muslims approve of porn. Indeed, its leaders often castigate the West for exposing women in a sexually explicit way.

Consider the divide in Western Europe, revealed in a 2008 Gallup poll: 43 percent of the general French population found viewing porn “morally acceptable,” but only 16 percent of French Muslims did.

In Germany, it was 58 percent of the general public but only 18 percent of Muslims. In Britain, 35 percent of non-Muslim Brits viewed pornography as acceptable, but only 1 percent of British Muslims did.

Muslims may lie to poll takers about sex, but if they are telling the truth, the way to de-heroize bin Laden and all the other jihadis is not to call them “terrorists,” but rather to describe them as “porn hounds.”

Maybe Muslims are opposed to pornography — but jihadists are not.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________

While everyone's been gearing up for President Trump's inauguration, the Clinton Foundation made a major announcement this week that went by with almost no notice: For all intents and purposes, it's closing its doors.

In a tax filing, the Clinton Global Initiative said it's firing 22 staffers and closing its offices, a result of the gusher of foreign money that kept the foundation afloat suddenly drying up after Hillary Clinton failed to win the presidency.

It proves what we've said all along: The Clinton Foundation was little more than an influence-peddling scheme to enrich the Clintons, and had little if anything to do with "charity," either overseas or in the U.S. That sound you heard starting in November was checkbooks being snapped shut in offices around the world by people who had hoped their donations would buy access to the next president of the United States.

And why not? There was a strong precedent for it in Hillary Clinton's tenure as secretary of state. While serving as the nation's top diplomat, the Clinton Foundation took money from at least seven foreign governments — a clear breach of Clinton's pledge on taking office that there would be total separation between her duties and the foundation.

Is there a smoking gun? Well, of the 154 private interests who either officially met or had scheduled phone talks with Hillary Clinton while she was secretary of state, at least 85 were donors to the Clinton Foundation or one of its programs.

In November, we asked the question: "Is The Clinton Foundation Doomed?" The answer is yes.

All the way back in May, we outlined how the Clinton Foundation had taken in $100 million from a collection of Gulf sheikhs and billionaires, along with millions from private businesses, who expected — and received — special access to the State Department's top official, Hillary.

In his 2015 book "Clinton Cash," author Peter Schweizer showed how during Hillary's years in government "the Clintons have conducted or facilitated hundreds of large transactions (either as private citizens or government officials) with foreign governments, corporations and private financiers." He called the sums going to the Clintons "staggering."

Using the Freedom of Information Act, Judicial Watch in August obtained emails (that had been hidden from investigators) showing that Clinton's top State Department aide, Huma Abedin, had given "special expedited access to the secretary of state" for those who gave $25,000 to $10 million to the Clinton Foundation. Many of those were facilitated by a former executive of the foundation, Doug Band, who headed Teneo, a shell company that managed the Clintons' affairs.

As part of this elaborate arrangement, Abedin was given special permission to work for the State Department, the Clinton Foundation and Teneo — another very clear conflict of interest.
