@TheCobbler,
Which would be a thing if she was a candidate for president. I think the candidate still running that Trump would have the most trouble with would be Warren. Sadly it’s looking more like she ain’t gonna make it., but I’ll still vote for her in the NC primary 3/3.

@snood,
Yea, I am voting for Warren in the Maine primary too.

No one is going to tell me who is electable, especially the Russians.

That is a fact-free graphic. He didn't murder anyone. He merely posed with the corpse of a terrorist.

@Baldimo,
Borowitz isn't fake news. Not posing as news. He's satire. Totally different thing. As opposed to the right wing fake news machine which pretends their reckless conjectures are facts.

@Baldimo,
Trump would never have won without the Russian lies and slander on Trump's opponents.

Trump lies so much that Republicans don't even know what the truth is anymore.

You have a lot of gall to call democratic "satire" a lie and call republican lies the truth...

Article

Let us suppose, for a moment, that everything we have ever heard about Hillary Clinton’s health is true.

She has had multiple strokes. Also, she has multiple sclerosis.

She depends upon a stool.

She has Parkinson’s. And HIV.

She might or might not have asthma.

She has one year left to live.

There are at least two so-called Hillary Clintons. One is a body double. Both wear adult diapers, which accounts for the shape of their garments, but they are not very subtle about it, so that many YouTube users were able to notice and comment.

She is constantly suffering from seizures, blackouts, falls and collapses.

She has unspecified heart trouble.

She has lupus.

Also, “there’s special needs there” (Rep. Louie Gohmert’s words, not mine) and the only way to help her is through the power of prayer.

Hillary Clinton pneumonia: Campaign vows to be more open about her health as she prepares to return to the trail
Every time she puts together a coherent sentence, it is a minor miracle. It requires a team of armor-clad specialists to prop her upright at all times. Picture what Franklin Delano Roosevelt had to do to conceal his polio, then multiply it by a factor of 10.

When you contemplate all of this, it is amazing all that she has accomplished. Just by way of comparison, I came down with a slight cold this weekend and have been prone on the couch ever since beneath a giant mound of tissues. And she has been secretary of state, served in the Senate and run for president twice, all while LITERALLY DYING at every possible moment.

I was willing to cut her some slack. But now, surely as a speaker on the main stage of the Republican National Convention, the question of her Numerous Ailments has moved from the Fringe Conspiracy Zone into the Mainstream Conversation. Clinton was diagnosed with pneumonia Friday, a fact she had to admit Sunday after she overheated at a 9/11 commemoration and stumbled on the way to her van, prompting demand for increased transparency about her health.

Not the transparency we have now, though. A better transparency. After all, we have gotten her medical records before — about that blood clot and concussion — and they somehow said nothing about the adult diapers or body doubles. We must not allow the wool to be pulled over our eyes any longer.

Doctors cannot be trusted. Does Donald Trump’s doctor even exist?

No, if we really want to feel at ease about what is going on with Hillary Clinton’s health, as well as about those rumors that her glance can curdle milk, that the cat Socks was her long-term familiar, and that Trump looks the way he does because Clinton once looked at him with the Evil Eye and will not allow his virile member to return to him, there is only one approach to take.

We must test her correctly. She must be placed upon a ducking stool, then weighed against a sack of Bibles, and then we must hear Giles Corey’s testimony against her. We must learn: Does soaking a cake in her urine and feeding it to a dog cause her to cry out in pain? Does her body bear the Devil’s Teat? Does she mutter to herself? Did Abigail see her dance in the glen with the Lord Beelzebub, then fly off into the night with a loud cry?

P.S.: Donald Trump should undergo all these procedures, too, or he is definitely a witch. And release his tax returns, while he is at it.

@TheCobbler,
In truth, there were several things leading to Trump's win.

1) Clinton calling people 'deplora'

2) Clinton not investing any real time in places such as Pennsylvania, Michigan...

3) Trump's repetitious repertoire wherein he says the same thing a dozen or more times in a speech.

The list is long. Interference from a foreign nation is only one element.

@Sturgis,
Yea, blame Hillary for the many Russian millions spent on lies spread around Facebook with razor fine demographic targeting... (cynical)

It is her fault that Trump is such a liar. (again cynical)

Complicity with a foreign element, is that better?

Cheating, fake news, depriving people of their right to vote, intimidating black and brown voters with veiled threats on Facebook.

And you don't think cheating, liars who conspire with the enemy are not 'deplora'?

I can think of a few words to aptly describe republican scum MUCH worse than that!

How would you respond to things like this printed about you? I would really like to know the answer...

1. Hillary Clinton shared state secrets through her private email server.
2. Hillary Clinton uses the Clinton Foundation to launder money for herself.
3. People could “buy” appointments with Secretary Clinton by donating to the Clinton Foundation.
4. Hillary Clinton approved a Russian uranium deal because of Clinton Foundation donations.
5. Hillary Clinton is responsible for the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi.
6. Hillary Clinton is a conservative.
7. Hillary Clinton is owned by Wall Street.
8. Hillary Clinton is not a feminist.
9. Hillary Clinton is dishonest.
10. Hillary Clinton defended a rapist and laughed about it.

Re-read what I wrote.

At no point did accuse Hillary Clinton of being an instigator of foreign interference or promoting Trump's lies. I stated a couple of her own missteps.

@Sturgis,
I don't like to hear criticism of Hillary for how she ran her campaign... It was near as perfect a campaign as could be run.

That is like blaming Obama for Trump winning...

Trump cheated... That is the only reason why he won, not because Hillary should have done more. Maybe she should have stood on hear head and spit pickles?

Hillary sounded the alarms, spoke the honest truth and the press and social media became overwhelmed by greed. Trump is the result of an electorate made sick by consuming a diet of pure lies and hate...

Trump could not win by playing fair. Hillary lost because Trump cheated.

The teacher passed out the test and Trump stole the test and fixed answers so they left only unanswered questions that the courts have for 4 years been obstructed from solving.

Cheating, injustice, theft, bribery, treachery, court fights to block the recounting of ballots. etc...

In a true democracy, Hillary would have handily won the election.

Trump has to pay for his crimes.

@TheCobbler,
I haven’t really seen this kind of full-throated defense of HRC and her campaign. It’s much more popular a stance that she ran a horrible, lazy campaign that failed to beat the worst candidate in history.

I lean more toward your take on it. As hard as Dotard and the GOP cheated and colluded, I don’t know why people are so eager to dump all the blame on HRC.

I think she would have been an exceptional President, as I think would Warren.

You may not want to hear/read it; yet, it was part and parcel of what led to her loss. She accumulated the popular vote, sure. However, by not giving even basic attention to a few states and by insulting potential voters, she lost where it most mattered: The Electoral College.

You might say, ' But Trump has insulted voters too!'. This is true; however, he insults (mainly) people he knows would never vote for him anyways.
