@Linkat,
Christ.

I was out to shovel yet again today. Cleared the cut out. We can get the car out. I have no idea if we'll be able to put it back.

@jespah,
Is there any end in sight to all this, jespah?

What do the forecasters say?

What about the groundhog, Does he charge a consultancy fee?

This is all getting well beyond a joke for all of you, I would guess.

I hereby give my full permission to warm your feet up on RP in bed tonight.

You're welcome.

I already do that.

PS Currently nothing coming down but it was flurrying for hours (lightly, thank God).

I want to shoot the sky.

There's a new Jimi Hendrix song.

@jespah,
So I had trouble getting into the driveway - spent my lunch hour trying to clean it up as much as possible. Went out got stuck and unstuck again -

Just got an MBTA alert - shuttle buses through Friday on the red line from Braintree to JFK - went a cluster - f* this is.

Yeah there has been snow flakes off and on all day - I hope I can get the car out - daughter has a high school basketball this evening so she needs to get back to the school.

Looks like the Director of the MBTA, Ms. Beverley up and quit today.

I wonder why she'd give up her $220,000/yr job!

Looks like another 12" is predicted for NH for the weekend and then another 12" on Wednesday. Today we're just getting flurries.

I have no idea how much is predicted for Boston, but I'm starting to feel sorry for you city dwellers... at least up here we have places to put the stuff.

On the bright side even the local road morons are getting used to driving on slick roads. I see people who normally don't know to turn their directionals off after leaving their driveway sliding through corners like slow motion Tokyo drift racers while holding their coffee in one hand.

Residents, students are climbing the ‘Alps of MIT’

A massive mound on MIT’s campus — meant to serve as a dumping ground for excess snow — has been transformed by residents and students into a prime place for skiing, sledding, and “mountain” climbing.

“I’m not sure who or what equipment was used to get it that high, but it’s definitely an awesome sight and unique this year,” said Dheera Venkatraman, a recent PhD graduate who spent a day scaling the massive pile of snow known as the “Alps of MIT” on Albany Street.
