I know you folks who get snow all the time hate it. But I look at those pictures and I wish we could get some just for a day or two...or three. I mean - if we are going to shut down for 1/2 inch - why can't we get enough to make it worth our while?

To explain, Eve Hesse is a major artist. The only work I ever saw by her was a white canvas, I think at the LA County museum. I suppose there were dimples somewhere in the paint. I was in my early twenties, I think, time flies, and my thinking was, you're kidding.

So, like, she is well regarded.

the only good thing about the snow -- I did not have to get up at 5:30 am to bring my daughter to her softball game.

Just in case you were wondering -- she plays indoors in the winter - they don't shovel a field.
