A girl says she will reconsider dating me after rejection

I got her number and she seemed interested all the way until we went on a date. I can tell she had a good time, but 2 days later all of a sudden she says she doesn't think it'll work out between us. When I asked her, she said she doesn't really know why she rejected me and that she'll reconsider it.

What're the odds of her actually changing her mind? Is there more of a meaning to it other than just reconsidering?

She made that decision way too fast. Is it because you said or did something that made her feel uncomfortable, like insinuate that you were too serious, too fast or that you two were now a couple after only one date?

Ease up and ask her out again in about a week. Let her know its JUST FOR FUN. FRIENDS first, then let it grow or not.
