Yeah. They really are good together.
They have 3 cats and a big dog that has the sense to realize the cats are in charge.
It’s really funny. I didn’t realize that dogs would have a special liking or dislike for a particular breed. Tilly (short for Chantilly Cream) gets along with most dogs, and is actually a pretty submissive female (thanks cats). But she has an avid dislike of Great Danes. She’s been around other dogs equally large, that have the same general frame, and she’s friendly. She was never around GD’s as a puppy. She has no history with them. She’s pretty big herself.
She’s just, “Nope. You’re a GD and so you’re a jerk and I hate you.”
