I'm wearing black today, too.

Not because Paul would or wouldn't like it, but simply because it's a way to honor him. And to express my sorrow...just for this one day. The world seems a bit less colorful without him.

I wore the toucan pants last night, and remembered this:

Today I am wearing very dark purple velveteen pants, a v-neck ribbed knit 3/4 sleeve top with peonies splashed all over it in the most vibrant shades of tropical flowers (with bugle beads edging some of the peonies and leaves), black shoes, silver earrings with blue and purple crystals, blue beaded cuff bracelet.

Long narrow black jean-cut skirt with slit up front to knees or maybe a bit higher.
Black stockings with a great bold pattern knitted in.
Black mary janes.
Deep fuschia sorta western cut shirt with black slightly floral cording (what is that called?) at the collar, cuffs and bodice.

Niiiiiice tie.

Loden green velvety pants and tunic. Tunic's over a sort of bright pea soup green t. Loden socks with gold spotty bits. Loden and pink/red/brownish floral Old Navy sneaks. Comfy outfit for a casual Friday - but not too casual. I'm not really good at casual Friday.

Black sleep pants with a winter skiing pattern. Inside out pale teal jammie top with a pooh bear and snowflake pattern. I was verra verra verra tired when I crawled up onto the bed last night.
