Sweatshirt - red for good luck (Gung hei fat choi!)
Jeans & cross-trainers.
V neck sweater in white with stripes of <rolls desk chair over to check reflection in mirrored door> (starting at the shoulder) hot pink, orange, medium yellow, pale yellow, palest green, light green, turquoise, sky blue, blue, and light purple. The fabric is nice and boingy, more of a spring sweater than a winter one. Knee-length narrow denim skirt ($5 at a consignment shop, and fits like it was made for me), footless navy tights, bare feet in sand color Simple boots.
Opinions desired on obviously trivial matter:
I need a pair of "water sport" shoes (not that kind of water sport...the island kind) -- Lands' End has a nice pair. I can't decide which color.

In no particular order, I like the chartreuse, mango, blue, turquoise, or possibly even the shell pink. The colors can be viewed on the shoe in a separate window by clicking the color sample.
Anyone?
I refuse to believe that any woman considers shoe selection a
"trivial matter". Or maybe sport shoes don't count? Hmmm...
Trivial in the grand scheme of things.
I hope someone takes pity on me and helps me decide, or at least helps me narrow down the choices.
I think chartreuse is just the most wonderful colour, so that's always my choice if I can get away with it.
I've got a more sandally version of that in black and chartreuse - great for walking in the water with the water-walking dog, and then walking/driving without squelching or slipping.
Burgundy v-neck t.
Garnet knee length knit skirt.
Black tights and boots.
Fabulous black quilted jacket.
Tahitian pearls.
I look mahvellous
Oooh Tahitian pearls.
The chartreuse is the color that caught my eye first, in the catalog. But the mango is very nice and would look interesting with my hair color, not that I plan to have my feet up around my head while wearing them. Any of the colors would complement a gunmetal swimsuit. I can't walk on water but I can try.
hehehehehehehe
<spinning with giddiness>
Well, today it is 15 pounds of weigh loss since Christmas, so to celebrate i am wearing: a bordeaux light sweater with lacey stuff around cuffs and at the botom, bordeaux pantyhose with beige fishnets on top, a bordeaux shawl with beige flowers, plait black skirt above knees and tall black boots. feeling like 2.3 billion bucks.
Dag, I bet your legs look great in those fishnets over bordeaux.
ehBeth, grrr...................................
Eva, red-auburn.
Okay...good tan or fair complexion? (Redheads are often fair, and some colors do not flatter.)
ooooh, it's dress-up-cinn! This could be a fun subject for a new thread. Eva could do our colors!
PJs: teal pants with spooky bats on them, lavender t-shirt, hint of lavender in white terry clothe robe and a pair of thick socks.
Hahaha...that's funny, lil'k! I'm sure Cinn knows what colors look best on her. Anybody who gets to the age of 25 and hasn't figured that out for herself is beyond the help of color consultants.
The problem comes in trying to decide what goes with the gunmetal-colored swimsuit. Then you really do have to factor in a person's coloring.
Nice sleepwear, btw. (Please say it's sleepwear.)
Anyone beyond the age of twenty five who listens to color consultants,
oh, never mind,
I am crabby tonight.
I am rather crabby this morning (long week) but I'm not gonna let that bring me down.
Cinnesthesia, I looked at dem shoes yesterday but forgot to come back. You want a gentleman's opinion? I like the green.
Today I am wearing a simple green dress, yellow tube top, and some very fashionable high heels.
People have been staring at me all morning.
